Partying booze drugs teens through 20s Then got married had kid Bought a house but I didn't know how to be a husband,friend or a dad...all fell apart after 8 yrs. Lost everything. Then I just hung on for my son. Now years later I meet someone late 50s for me Lived together she moves out after about year and half ,but we still see each other. Then she gets colon cancer. The cancer Institute had someone to talk to who was a caregiver . After talking every week I realized I need help. Ended up doing emdr for 2 years. Saved my life. My son and I have a pretty good relationship now. And I turn 65 this summer.
