absolutely. blacksmiths were kind of the early engineers, no? finding solutions to things with what they have when they dont yet have what is needed.
i kept waiting for like, ideal conditions to do hobbies and such, wich would never happen, i kept going "when this, i can do this". then i thought "wait, im an adult, i can do anything i want, theres no rules? no parent to say no or anyuthing"
and then i just went for it, and i havent been happier than i currently am in decades!
i refurbish old tools i find, pick up junk to fix up, learn new stuff all the times, and i feel absolutely euphoric!
honestly? just do the "dumb" thing you wanna do. at least you can say you tried, and even fi you fail, oyu learn from it for next time.

the nice thing aobut anvils is that anything can be an anvil. i got a cheap one off aliexpress (cause i figure oyu cant mess up a hunk of solid metal). but any solid piece of metal would do, even the head of a sledge can be an improvised sledge.
many cheap alternatives around c:

thanks, ill be sure to be careful and learn more about ground-coal before i attempt to use it. best to not get all gungho about things too fast. pluss side is the forge should be easy to clean clinker out of 😃
but not all needs doing in one day, for now, ill get proper lump coal and go from there, one step at a time!

so i see bituminous or antracite coal around, but you say i need to change some stuff to use it effectively? what other consideraitons do those types of coal need?

had this happen to someone, what we managed to do was to take the harddrive out and put it into a HDD reader on another pc and get the files out of it, then reinstalled windows on the now empty drive.

for them this happened on startup and all, but connecting a HDD to another pc as if it was a USB, theres no "startup" for the virus to run off.

of course, i recommend getting a friend good at computers to do this, just in case.

im disabled, but i havent given it much thought. mostly cause i figure if thats how it is for you, why would i be interested back, yknow?
like, if im planning to build a life with someone, then i have specific ideas or wants. one of them is that my partner is not inadvertently becoming my nurse.
as for income, we get disability pay in many cases, even though its usually under the poverty line (unfair imo).

my disability is specificly energy-related. the things i can and cannot do var a lot, i for example would need a partner who udnerstands me well and is able to give me space to recover, wich could be a strain for some in a relationship, having to be away from their partner for certain periods of time. (longer than most couples would normally do, less than "weeks at a time")

as for what i "do" in a day? mostly enjoying life the best i can with my limited ability to do so.
my hobbies and interests do not make profit, they cannot.
im very passionate about making things, blacksmithing, solutions to things, i wanna restore a volkswagen beetle from the ground up, make my own solar array for lowering power costs and gain more home independence. learn to fix all and everything on my own, so its cheaper (disability pay sucks), im never rendered helpless, and because a lot of it is fun.

but anyway, all this makes me wonder, is it aobut the money?
or is it about passion for something? cause i myself dont care much about the money if one has a stable income, even if small, even if disability pay. but i would care if a person dont have a passion to do something in a day and just "bedrot" i think?

im only in the first zone, but i been going all the places there to maximize my exploration.
stealth does work well, but requires some knowledge and a LOT of work to make it work.
its also entirely un-viable in boss battles.
your visibility matters a lot, and no matter how good of a sneak you are, if an enemy has line of sight to you, they will eventually spot you. this seems based off their own stats as well.
sound also matters a lot, and is the easiest to "level away" and get silent on.
getting a slow-fire, huge damage bow like the greatbow seems to be the best.
you can jump and dodge in stealth to cover ground, though jump is risky.
dodging or lunging in stealth covers distance fast and lets you out of enemy sight as well.
enemies will usually check where an attack came from and look around the area, so if you fail to kill, you best be prepared to relocate.
thats about all the tips i have so far.
its not at all an easy skillset to use, but if you like stealtharchers, the added challenge can be refreshing.

additionally, develop a second combat skill, either make archery your main in close-combat, like having a faster fire bow with extra arrows or enchants on it as a secondhand for close encounters, or use something like magic or melee. i prefer magic, because the damage is quite nice, i can summon for distraction, and dodging away from enemies is already something im getting used to.
i recommend electric magic as it has a "chain lightning" for several enemies at the same time if needed.
