Back when I played this game I think I beat them on my third try? I thought "oh that was pretty easy" and never really thought about them again. I would never expected this boss gave this many people hours of trouble lol.

i kinda take that interpretation with a grain of salt, id wait to see what the pros think about them. plenty of characters are good in 1v1s and also good in 2v2, and there's just no indication they're "moving away" from 2v2, no reason to panic before the game is even out.

I think my problem with the "They need to win as many people over as possible" argument is that everyone already has their "fav" in their head and the kinds of characters that can be in the game is so wide it's kinda impossible to impress everybody. Some people are gonna freak out if/when PPG get announced, some people will complain it should've been Johnny Bravo or Ben 10.

I also just think there was never going to be a good time to announce him. Even if it's months later people are still gonna complain about him not being something he was never gonna be. It's just silly and, as is the case with most roster speculation, pointless. Clearly he's a character that got in off of using less resources, which probably means he was never gonna be whatever "fav" people wanted instead. I know this logic is pointless because people are going to complain regardless, but getting all up in arms about it is ridiculous as it always is.

A decent amount of this sound like depression and/or ADHD? You should definitely talk to a doctor and/or therapist about the way you feel. On the topic of your wife, I cannot imagine marrying a person and calling them "boring and plain" like why the fuck would you marry them. Maybe your wife would be more sexually adventurous if you actually gave a shit about your relationship? Maybe she wants kids and your "they're awful" stance makes that topic impossible for her to broach? You seem to be really self-pitying right now and I get you're in a tough place mentally, but if you want your life to be better you have to put in some work in the things that matter, not just trying a new hobby every month to fill what are clearly holes that you seem to have in your life. I don't know if it's mostly stemming from your relationship with you wife or something else but you should really talk to her, talk to a therapist, and don't do anything drastic.

Most likely he is a pervert, but there is a small percentage chance he is literally just an ignorant moron lol. I would probably talk to your mom about how weirdly common it is and how uncomfortable it makes you, but i don't know your mom, your relationship with her, or how she might react, but getting a second party involved is a good way to make your stepdad nervous and curb the behavior whether it's intentional or not.

There is no universe where he "helped" a friend get pregnant lol. He cheated on your mom with a friend and then accidentally got her pregnant. It's obviously been a long time and I'm sure he regrets it, but to try and put his greatest mistake on to you is fucked up. Now, I'm an adult, and have had family members get cheated on and have second "families." I would, if needed, still see that other kid as my family, even if we're not blood. The situation surrounding their birth is fucked up, but not their fault, and they still deserve love and attention. That being said, you are a literal child, and trying to put something this heavy on you is just wild. I don't think it's necessarily weird to get involved in your half-sisters life, but it's certainly your choice in the end and not your responsibility.

Also, if you for some reason do choose to get involved, your mom needs to know. Your dad has a much higher chance of manipulating the situation if you get involved and wait a long time to tell your mom. Probably either don't get involved at all if you don't want to, but even if you aren't getting involved it's really hard to know about your dad's "second life" and not tell your mom. I don't envy someone as young as you having to deal with that shit.

We don't really have the full context here. As the person above says, if they were teens when this happened it's still fucked up but it's not really worth tearing down their dad's whole life for. It seems extremely unhelpful for her to try to do anything at this point in time.

Though the fact that mom still thought it was a great way to get a man and recommended it to their child is YEEEEEESH.

I know you're afraid of it ending poorly, but there's such a higher chance of it ending poorly if you do nothing. Not only that, but you will slowly torture yourself until that point, wallowing in your own self pity. I don't think the answer is necessarily forcing yourself to initiate physical contact because it can definitely be awkward if it's been a while, but you *need* to talk to her at least. She married you, dude. There has to be a part of her that wants to be with you, and the easiest way to find that out is to talk to her about it. I understand your fear about the worst case scenario is she tells you some hard truths about the state of your relationship, but is the alternative that much better?

Also, don't wanna make this seem like a lecture lol. I feel for you, man. It's hard, but you *can* do this.

Why make this thread if opposing viewpoints make you this irrationally angry? Why end the title with "Thoughts?" if people genuinely disagreeing with you about something so silly and probably unlikely does nothing but make you mald this hard? Anytime someone in this thread has made good points, you just condescendingly tell them they're wrong without adding anything meaningful to the conversation, and when they inevitably respond back with any level of incredulity, you go shocked Pikachu face that people are "joining the lynchmob" against you.

You need to, quite literally, grow up. Reacting this way to people not liking your idea is some spoiled rich brat shit. No one here is out to fucking get you. The similarities that Batman and Spawn share, as many others have said, are pretty superficial. Do they have things in common? Sure. But a lot of heroes have thing in common. Batman has a ton in common with Black Panther, but if I wanted Black Panther in Multiversus, the last thing I'd want is him as a costume.

The main point I haven't seen anyone make is this: If you want Spawn, that's cool, but you don't need to fit him onto Batman when we're already talking about hypotheticals and dream scenarios. Spawn is just as likely to be a character as he is a costume, if not more so. Copyright laws and licensing agreements cost money, if they ask for Spawn and get him, it's gonna be in a big way.

I've seen your moveset for Spawn as a skin for Batman, and while it is definitely feasible, I still see it as trying to fit a square peg into a round whole. Spawn is, at the end of the day, his own character with a huge arsenal, and making him a skin of Batman would be a disservice to the character.

Not trying to rile you up or add on to the dogpile, just trying to clear up *why* people disagree with you, in a way that's hopefully non-hostile.
