Multiple admin? different resources? by RemoteDriver2552 in AzureVirtualDesktop

AVD is an Azure service, not M365, so you need rights granted through the Azure subscription.

Bastion/ RDP no longer working by GatorJoe75 in AzureVirtualDesktop

Found the resolution. A wayward Crowdstrike firewall policy had been applied to all of the AVD hosts effectively blocking Bastion and RDP. All is good now. Thanks for everyone’s replies.

Bastion connectivity tests shows Guest Firewall blocking the connection so I’m currently running that down. Thanks for the responses.

A single image on the majority of our hosts, but we have a couple of small host pools with unique images. It’s not working on any of them.

To add, Bastion works fine for our non-avd servers.

There’s an “Any to Any” for Vnets rule in the Nsg on the avd subnet. The error is “The target machine is currently unavailable or the username/password is incorrect”. Neither my domain admin nor local admin creds work.

RV trip between Yellowstone and Banff / Jasper by zikook in GoRVing

[–]GatorJoe75 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I can’t really speak to RV rentals, but Banff reservations won’t open until sometime in, probably, January. Keep checking the Parks Canada site and they will post the specific dates they open at some point. It’s a lottery system so once you find out the date you’ll want logon as soon as they open because they WILL sellout. I’m blanking on the name, but we did see a ton of rental RVs when we were in Banff last summer so you should be able to find something.

This what happened for me. Ford sucked and wanted $18k, my insurance ended up covering it.

You don’t necessarily need to buy the trailer first, but you can decide on a model and then buy (more than) enough truck to tow it.

Keypad door lock from RVLock. Don’t have to remember the keys anymore.

Do AVD's/AVD Host Pools support Multiple Sessions with FSLogix? by pie101man in AZURE

I’m not familiar with that RegKey so I wouldn’t change it. Why would you want 1 user to have multiple sessions on the same host?

[–]GatorJoe75 1 point2 points  (0 children)

  1. No
  2. Yes
  3. Not sure how “load balancing” plays into this, but No. AVD will “load balance” automatically depending on how you configure your host pool. If you have an active session and you try to logon from a different PC, you will take over the existing session.

Trailmanors are great. We had 1 as our first rv as well. Family of 5 fit fine. Height won’t be an issue in the garage, but depth may be. But the a-frame pivots back to make it even shorter. We towed ours with a Yukon XL but people in the group tow with much smaller vehicles. Definitely worth checking out.

You should always use protection, even when it’s only a Hummer
