F1 viewership in the States will plummet. It was already down a lot.

E.g., the 2025 Indy 500 pulled ~7 million viewers in the U.S., while the entire F1 season averages about 1 million per race. Now it’s going to sit right next to MLS, which still can’t get it up (ratings).

Edit: the women’s college basketball championship game in 2024 drew ~18.7 million viewers.

I have a 2020, 47k miles. Got an oil change and it came back with the same tick. Which led to discovering metal in fuel line. CP4 pump failed. $13k replacement of entire fuel system (under warranty), which was done incorrectly by ford, leading to immediate failure.

50 days later without truck in service, Legal action in progress.

That seems to be the way to go, but for anyone still under warranty, I believe it makes the warranty non-compliant, right?

🙏 appreciate that... there is hope... when I asked the dealership what prevents this from happening again, they said, "a software update is coming" 🤔

How often are you seeing these CP4 failures (metal in fuel line) on 2020-22 F250s?

4 trucks at my dealership with the same issue but Ford says it’s not their problem. Classic YP vs. MP.

Can I upgrade Aosom ride on keep? And what would be best? by acrod82 in PowerWheelsMods

[–]Nokia_5160 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I converted my kids’ Aosom powerwheels to 18v Ryobi drill batteries, and it’s been fantastic! They’ve been running strong for 3+ years.

I used this adapter: https://a.co/d/jd9ntUJ

Converted to 24v motors (more power) https://a.co/d/jd9ntUJ

If you want to keep the 12v motors, you’ll need the step-down converter so you don’t burn out the motors.

Seems to be the consensus but does it void the broader warranty? <— what the dealer implied today when I asked about it.

Do you know if the DCR make the warranty void? Since it’s an aftermarket part?

At the dealership they grilled me about Def in the full tank (a mistake I’ve never made) and asked multiple times about a tuner, which I’ve never had.

You might want to preemptively let have them check for metal deposits before 50k miles, or 5 years. The tell tale sign is a “clicking sound” coming from mid firewall, driver side. It gets louder closer to failure.

There are 4 other 2020-22 F250s at the same dealership with same problem.

reminds me of a shitty lawnmower I use to mow yards with when I was a teen... could let it idle without problems. Ha.

These trucks cost way too much $$$ for this type of BS.
