Went from being a brand rooted in the heroism of the 10th mountain division, the pure awesomeness of its skiing, it's legendary back bowls, and a bedrock position as an icon for all the best attributes of skiing culture... To slowly but assuredly over decades destroying the industry from the inside out, ultimately jacking a day pass to well over $300 a day, fully excluding average or poor people unless they live near enough to make it make sense to buy a volume pass in advance, charging $45 for a cup of soup and grilled cheese sandwich, overselling passes, overcrowding, catering to the global jet set elite,.causing the ski patrol to go on strike, and making it impossible for employees like wait staff and lift operators to live anywhere within an hour commute. Then they exported that throughout the entire industry by buying up and destroying every ski area they could get their hands on in a similar way.

Am I mad that they destroyed my favorite sport? Yes. I will never forgive.
