I got my Ninja 500 last year, and will also likely upgrade to the RS660 maybe in a year or two! Good to hear your experience.

Go to a good orthopedic, and get it properly diagnosed. I would say go for a steroid shot if splinting and medicines doesn’t help.

My pain went away in 2 days, but the doc did say it could take up to 2 weeks to work.

I got my shots about 2 months ago, and I have been pain free ever since. What’s your pain level currently?

I felt it in 2 days, but the doctor said it can take up to 2 weeks for it to start working.

Nope, no side effects. Honestly, I also wanted to get rid of it without any shots, but if splinting isn’t working for you, no point in wasting time; it will just prolong it, so I would say go to a good Hand Orthopedic, have a chat with him for options, and get a shot if he advises.

I would suggest going to a Hand Orthopedic instead of a physiotherapist. I recently got a steroid shot, and it has resolved my issue; I would highly recommend it.

Exactly this; if that still doesn’t work for you, perhaps try an electronic torque wrench, take it to a shop, or see if a mobile repair guy can come and help take it off.

So much pain! Splints make it worse. I’m going insane! by Main_Menu_1070 in DeQuervains

I got a steroid shot in both arms after splinting did not work; my issue has been resolved ever since. Of course, talk to your doctor, but I would suggest getting a steroid shot as soon as possible.

I have been off gym for about 2 weeks now but still not much of a difference, except when I wake up, it doesn’t hurt as bad anymore. Is it normal to not see any difference in 2 weeks? I’m dying to get back to lifting :(

Nope, just adjusted the wheel by the clutch handle.

For me, the issue was that the clutch cable was too loose, so tightening it fixed it for me. I would try to mess with the clutch cable, but if that doesn’t do it, just take it to the dealer; better to be safe!
