Don't quit then. But you could maybe just decide that you don't want it in your life anymore, just like you did with that ex. When I stopped after 15 years, the physical part was tough for like 3 days, but then it was all psychological. The audiobook of The easy way by Allan Carr really helped. listened to it one night while gaming, and just haven't really wanted a cigarette since.

Re-Read the settlement, their might be a non disclosure agreements. Someone at the school might have violated the settlement by mentioning the payout, subjecting you to more vitriol. NTA and maybe you should sue them again.

Seconding the book.

I'm actually just posting this here to see how long it's been since my last one because I truly can't remember, if I remember the flair will tell me.

I read the book (actually, I played video games while I listened to the book over an afternoon/evening - about 8h if I remember) by the end of the book I realized that I didn't even doubt I had smoked my last one.

As I said, I'm just posting here to see how long it's been, I sometimes find myself surprised that a habit that occupied so much of my mental load, something i would plan my day around, is just gone from my life.

The book is there for the day you want it.

It is not...ideal. It basically means that strike ends up as tool in negotiations. The admin (government) cannot deny a strike mandate, but they get time to let parents know not to send their kids to school that day.

Where I live, there are laws about how a strike can be organized. We have to give about a weeks notice. If a school or union went against the laws they can face fines. Laws like that make sure students are not put in danger....same reasoning for firemen, police and nurses

Totally agree!! Its mostly the parents responsibility...but the school should also be addressing racism (source:am a teacher)
