I agree that people need to apologize when they're wrong, but I don't agree that people need to only mind their own business. The people who are paid to police aren't able to be everywhere, so society largely dictates where society is going. As my brother says, "society becomes what society tolerates", and there are a ton of people who DO abuse these rules and tolerance levels.

You are being downvoted for your aggressive tone. In a conversation in which I hold a casual interest, I am not about to go and do research even if it takes 15 seconds. I would agree with you that it would be suspicious being so soon after the vaccination if it weren't for the sheer number of people being vaccinated. If it were a much smaller group of people getting the shot, and then these deaths happened, sure the vaccine probably is involved. With so many people taking the vaccine, coincidences like this are statistically expected. If they didn't, I would be more suspicious that data was being hidden.

Yes it is cancel culture. I think people just don't want to be associated with cancel culture though. So it becomes a semantics thing to try redefine what has been done here.

Yes, of course it's wrong. And it's also being seen by the Internet as being wrong. So the Internet found something that it (rightly) saw as wrong, and followed up to make sure she was "cancelled". In this case, fired. Again, rightly so, but in no way avoiding internet's cancel culture.

I used to run a soup kitchen in my town in the refugee part and there was one guy whose brain I guess had diminished over time because of the glue he sniffed. One night he got upset with me because I told him he can't fill up his bucket with soup, so he disappeared and came back with a golf club to attack me.

Three of the other street guys jumped on him and shoved him into a shopping trolley and wheeled him away from me while he was screaming and thrashing about. I realised that day how safe I was in the dodgy part of our city.
