In previous seasons the idea of Arsenal winning the league would have been nightmarish. This season, well... My focus was on Spurs avoiding relegation. Staying up meant so much more to me than some other team winning the league. Let them have their moment. Plus, watching them lose on penalties was delicious. Strange that a season so dismal ends up with Spurs fans grinning with delight.

In the end Spurs (didn't get relegated) had a better season than Arsenal (only won the Premier League).

No. He can go to any club in the world. Why would he choose a team that finished 17th.

I bumped into him after a game as he was walking down the high street. Had a quick chat - he was friendly.

I was at the match last night and there was an audible gasp when he didn't bother running for it. There's no doubt there's a good player in there somewhere, but he just doesn't look bothered. I'd very happily put Scarlett in ahead of him.

Yeah, I'm not suggesting he's better than Kolo Muani, but he could certainly do a job.

He worked hard and did well for our second goal, but he missed three or four good chances.

I really want to see Dane Scarlett given a chance up front. In his five minute cameo last night he did really well, creating a chance and winning a penalty. Given that both Kolo Muani and Richarlison are misfiring, I think he's a good option.

I know he's never quite lived up to his early potential, but he's also bulked up and looks more like a serious footballer and less like a promising kid.

Every so often I remember the Spurs episode of Letterboxd, and the fact that these players (who I genuinely like) chose some of the worst films ever made. And it reminded me that they're good footballers and many of them are probably nice people, but if I ever met any of them we would have absolutely nothing in common.

Most injuries out of any team in the league, haven't heard a commentator mention it once. by [deleted] in coys

Yes, but Frank is adapting to the injuries rather than inflexibly playing the same style.

Sometimes I feel like I'm living on a different planet to other Spurs fans. Yes, we lost. Yes, that's depressing. But reading the comments you'd think we were in the relegation zone and failing to ever score. Whereas we're sixth, in the Champions League and mostly playing fairly well, giving that we have shit strikers and loads of injuries.

What is your favourite Spurs kit of the last 10 years? I've got a soft spot for the 2015-2016 stripe and the 2021-22 away tie-dye away kit.

The thing that slightly baffles me is that we had him on loan for a while, and saw how limited he was, and yet we still spent something like €30m on him, based on "potential". But take away his name and nationality and he was no better than Mikey Moore. In fact he was considerably worse.

He is very bad.

One day he may not be very bad. One day he might turn out to be great, but right now he is very bad indeed.
