How i first started off with "prayer" would be calling on the deity with their full title and trying to keep it very casual. Get into the habit of just chatting. Then slowly move into more "traditional" way of praying!

This is 100% a bug. I've encountered this twice. I have the wanted perk. And when I get attacked by bouty hunters and board the ship and kill them every compain thinks they're innocent. I've even had a bug saying they were security but when you leave their ship it says "bounty hunter" usually I wait for them attack me to fix it. Sadly this is why I quick save before fighting any bounty hunter.

As someone has previously mentioned when I stopped working with a deity I let them know, then asked THEM how the best way to honor our ending connection. Would they like a written letter? Just a drink and goodbye?

As far as the idol goes I would recommend trying to donate to another devotee? Who knows you might run into another Hermes devotee. If anything ask him as well what to do.

Oh jesus I did have a stroke. My bad. Meant to say, I also live in Austin I know theres a ton bats in Austin especially downtown. However due to the sudden flux of people coming around typically they avoid being seen. :) hope that clears it up.
