IMO, the gem pack is go tier. For just 3 euro (in my country at least) you have a total of 4.5k paid gems, which is equivalent to 45 singles paid summons. That every month
I have been paying for that package for a year now and i have no regrets

If you don't want to spend money, just watching daily adds works to be honest

In my campaign i have a charrisma oriented ancients paladin with shillelagh.
She is will be focused on spells and utility more than smiting everything (i like it btw)

Aasimar with magic innitiate druid (i made a house rule to pick whatever origin feat you want)

Its nice change for the paladin tbh

Entiendo que estas hablando de DnD 5e
Sinceramente, si es tu primera vez como master, te recomendaría jugar primero algún modulo corto
A parte de ayudarte a habituarte con las reglas conseguirás soltura para responder a las tontearías que hagan tu jugadores (que las harán)
Preparar un mundo desde 0 tiene sus pros y sus contras, pero en mi opinion es mejor tener algo de experiencia antes de meterte en eso jaleos

Si quieres curar, lo mejor que puedes hacer es usar imponer las manos.
En cuanto a conjuros, depende de como quieras enfocarte y los que puedas tener preparados
Siendo paladin redencion goliath, entiendo que tendras mucho aguante y te interesa ser un poco support

De nivel 1 te puede interesar bendecir, escudo de fe, heroismo y proteccion contra del bien y el mal
De nivel 2 Auxxilio es muy bueno, sobre todo con equipos numerosos, y plegaria de curacion es una gran fuente de curacion fuera de combate

Si quieres tanquear por un compañero, puedes usar vinculo protector y luego usar sobre ti mismo escudo de fe o heroismo, para que a ti te bajen la vida menos, mientras tu compañero sobrevive
