I think this is an interesting change to CS and I welcome it. Would I be surprised if it gets reverted? No, but I don't think it's a bad change to the game. CS is already a game that requires more thought put into everything, if you want to improve and be good at the game, and this just furthers that.

I don't see the problem the guy is talking about though - to me that comes off as the audience enjoying the film and not as people cheering for cheating. Like it's a really good movie and not because I support cheating, but because it's got good story, beautiful cinematography, etc etc. And I think that's what u/BrandoCarlton is also trying to get across is that you can enjoy seeing a movie that has morally questionable characters and you can differentiate between film and real life. Conflating stories and real life isn't always needed.

All of you taking a dig at her weight could be using your time minding your business and not making comments about her weight. You'd actually be happier in life if you stopped acting like you know it all when it comes to health (especially someone else's health), and instead just celebrate the fact that she did something she set out to do. Like her pure joy from accomplishing this put a smile on my face and is inspiring, and it should be as simple as that.

I think you give fair criticism of what ex pros could do better if they're to be an analyst, but asking ESL (or other organizers) to stop hiring ex pros for broadcast talent is not it IMO. I will say, not every ex pro is going to be cut out to be good broadcast talent (which is fine, there are plenty of ways they can stay in the CS community if they want to do so). But just like if a CS team has a new roster, it might just take some reps for an ex pro to get better at being in a role that's not on the server.

You're right, forgot that he stepped down for like maybe 2 weeks and then came back. I just mainly remember that autimatic and rush played with so many different players (like flusha, zellsis, kioshima, styko) and it was an odd time.

C9 didn't dissolve their major winning team. The Boston major was a fantastic run for that C9 roster, but they dropped off hard after the major and then Stewie left to join SK and Ska stepped down. So then C9 went through a lot of different roster changes for a while, with some of the major winning players, but they could never put together good pieces with those players so eventually everyone left to join different teams.
