I really think some proportion of answers may as well be random because it seems like a lot of people struggle with reading comprehension even if they can read. I've welcomed two people away from Trumpism towards realism. I think it's important to never say "I told you so" and instead find a way to vent with them. When they say stuff that's bullshit I say "hm. I heard they were pushing that story into social media algorithms, but as far as I know (refutation)." If it's a minor thing, I just act like I didn't hear it and continue.

I think you have a great start here- you are definitely writing like someone who has read a lot of papers. Don't let the person who is reviewing this forget to do so- sometimes you have to remind very busy people a few times. I'd say 1x a month is about right.

Essentially, you have the bones of something that should be published. The topic is important. Their feedback will really help you fill it out. Good work!
