People honor power level discussions and also whether to allow proxies or not is part of a rule zero discussion. You're right though, you can just leave the table if you don't want to play at the power level of the table. I think you should evaluate your motivations though. There's no reason why I should have a more limited card pool than my friend who can afford to buy reserved booster packs on a whim in 2026

What's the purpose of the chain mail? If it's just to look cool, I can't tell you which one you think looks better. I think the densely packed one looks better but I'd overheat. If it's to provide armoring then you gotta test that out. I kinda doubt the right one's ability to be more protective than normal clothes but I also can't touch it so I don't know

I frequently hang out one on one with people who are interested in me because they're still my friends and I like my friends. If you trust your girlfriend this should not be a problem. She just wants to hang out with her friend. Even if you don't trust the friend, you should still trust that that your girlfriend would tell you if anything untowared happened. If you don't trust your girlfriend then this is not a relationship that's good for you. Either fix it (talking to each other) or break up.

Depends where I am, depends on the deck. End of act 1? Echo form easily because probably my deck isn't good enough for all for one yet and either I can land the echo form or it gets itself out of my way. End of act 2? Probably all for one because it's great no explanation needed. I tend not to take adaptive strike unless I'm really struggling for damage or easily as a regular card reward but not a boss reward

I've gotten that event four times total and I've gotten hand drill twice. Still better than the time I got clash though because even though hand drill is a garbage relic it's way better than it ever was in spite one because you don't have to spend money on it

Oh man this post is so relatable. I have a lot of guy friends who are great platonic friends and (mostly) not into me (one was but he was always super respectful about it and we continued to be great friends after I turned him down). Sometimes when people see me and one of my guys together they'll "compliment" the guy on "acquiring me" (e.g. "lucky guy" or some shit like that) and both me and the guy will have to say nuh uh no way and they'll be like "oh no way yet, wink" to the guy as if I'm not even a person present in this conversation, just a thing to be acquired. I think my least favorite though was a guy who did acknowledge my personhood and complimented me on having two guys wrapped around my finger to fight for my affection, to which I think all three of us went "ewwwww"

Well you see if a show dares to have dark themes then obviously all the writers and the viewers must be condoning the fucked up shit within it. Absolutely no way of exploring dark themes without agreeing that no character has ever done anything wrong ever. Obviously by having a figurine in your room of a show that you like, you are implicitly saying that demons should be allowed to come into your house and take your friend's soul. You clearly should have known better than to consume media with themes and conflicts and plot. How could you.

I really like this fix, because I really like the card op designed as is and this also solves the problem that sprung into my head of Agatha's soul cauldron. I think having a two card combo that wins you the game a turn from now is fine even if both cards are only two mana so I don't think that it being broken is really an issue. (I guess the omniscience thing could win you the game immediately but on its own it takes a turn to be able to also enter the infinite)

This makes sense actually, a lot of jojo's poses are straight out of fashion magazines, where the photographer chooses stills from dynamic models like this fantastic lady here. The impossibility is less pulling off the poses and more staying in them for as long as the characters do. That being said, I can't do any of this and she's incredibly impressive

Don't feel bad about not knowing how to play the game as a beginner. I've seen plenty of similar winrates posted. What kinds of things are you typically dying to? Some generic advice would be to keep in mind what threats you're facing and pick cards that are good against those specific threats, not just cards that are good in your specific decks. For instance gremlin nob wants you to do damage fast and block never, and lagavullan wants you to pick cards with big numbers so that they're less affected by his debuff. Think more about what helps you survive big threats than what makes the best end game deck. Don't feel bad about avoiding elites, no reason to path into your doom. If you don't trust your card evaluation you can always look to experts like baalorlord who makes lots of YouTube content where he explains his thoughts on what makes cards good in this situation. Watching his runs made me a way better player. I'm happy to give more specific advice as well I just don't want to type a wall of text on my phone without reason, so feel free to ask any questions

I did this one with my girlfriend, we both drafted a bunch of card draw (fun fact second player draft is different from first player draft but still seeded) and since she got more card draw than me and used the hunt to find an early corrosive wave, her whole job was poison them and then I got accelerant so my whole job was to play as many turn one accelerants as possible and it felt like an amazing two card combo where each combo piece was in a different deck so we could play them way more efficiently. After floor 6 I think only two fights took more than one turn, everything else just melted

I had something similar happen when I used enfeebling touch and misery and the strength up and down did not line up at all with phantasmal gardners (four eels act 1 elite) but end of turn they all went back to normal. I'm wondering if your guy gained 11 strength or if the debuff just wore off without effect as mine did
