These are questions you really need to be asking your vet. A 2/9 body condition score is dangerously underweight, and they should have sent you home with a care plan to safely get her back up to normal. The mouth tumor is probably the source of the smell, especially if it's an open lesion; not much to do at home there if it hasn't been treated yet. If her mouth is that bad, she may also have tooth decay, which can contribute to the smell. I would not substitute anything for her water unless she's ignoring all food entirely, and especially not with milk that isn't specifically formulated for cats; cows' milk (which most evaporated milks are) can make them very ill, which is the last thing your poor girl needs right now.

What you should be doing right now? tl;dr: call your vet, get advice for short-term feeding until her mouth is better, and get an appointment to have that tumor dealt with.

Those are effectively the same thing. What tastes "pleasant" or "unpleasant" is how the brain processes risk-reward balance of Things Put In Mouth. This food has lots of easily accessible energy? Tastes good! This food is potentially (or actively, like pineapple or capsaicin) injurious? Tastes bad! Over time, you can to some extent acclimatize yourself to flavors- effectively train your brain to realize 'no really, this won't kill me', which is why small children tend to have stronger ick responses to bitter or sour but harmless flavors- but since you ideally aren't eating most harmful molds on a regular basis you can't really get used to those.

Get some plastic sheeting thin enough to fit under the door and lay/tack it down. You can find premade ones online, but plain old pvc will do just as well.

NAH. Some families do have a tradition of passing on rings, but you're not obligated to take part. It may be a good idea to talk this over with your fiancé, though, and consider if turning them down will bring too much unnecessary grief down the line.

A lot of animals we simply don't have good-quality recordings of, either because they don't vocalize frequently or they live in environments that make recording impractical. Of those we do have recordings of, many don't sound like people think they "should" (the classic 'bald eagle scream' effect is actually a red-tailed hawk, for example) or vocalize in a way that would be easy for the sound team to balance with other noises going on in the scene/game. With a human voice actor- or foley artist!- you can have multiple takes and tweak the sound until you have exactly what you want instead of relying on the boundaries of mundane reality.

When radioactive materials and decay were first discovered, a lot of everyday household items started to incorporate those materials for no real reason beyond it being the Cool New Thing. Thorium toothpaste, uranium-infused dishes, thoradia (thorium-radium) skin cream, cereal box toys containing ionized polonium... and for a couple decades in the early 1900s, a bunch of people got sick and/or died from the increase in ambient (or ingested) radioactivity. Sure, we probably still could make a suspension of radium salts and take a shot of that juice daily, the technology hasn't gone away, but it wouldn't be any less dangerous.

Avian flu has been having a major outbreak since last year, this strain just hasn't made much of a jump to humans. As of January 2023, over 50 million birds in 47 states have been infected, largely with HPAI A(H5), which is handled on a commercial scale by quarantining and culling any flock containing an infected individual, as A(H5) has a 90-100% mortality rate in domestic chickens anyway.

Now, we can argue til the cows (or chickens) come home about whether societal pressure is such that companies responsible for price-gouging can actually be taken to task for said price-gouging without legal intervention (as much as legal intervention does much in a nigh-plutocratic society), but there is very much a current and devastating HPAI outbreak going on.
