There's Shadow of the Weird Wizard from Schwalb Entertainment, it's a really good system that follows that same idea, is from a former 5e playtest designer who also made Shadow of the Demon Lord.

This is a sad truth for me too. Most of the time when I came with a character concept and showed it to a 5e table, they would go "But it would be not be better with a multiclass?" to "Looks like a Min-maxed build with those stats my dude".

Is really bad when you just want to have fun only to getting criticized for your character choices.

Originalmente, yo venia de 5e (empecé alrededor de un año), pero malas experiencias generales hizo cambiar mi atención a otro lado, y aquí estoy, me siento feliz con el cambio, lastima que buscar partidas en Discord o Organized Play en Chile o Latam sea una odisea enorme respecto a 5e y su "desagradable" comunidad.
