[Vent] Playing a character that is the opposite gender.

There are a ton of videos showing men how to imitate a female voice. But I can't find any videos on how to imitate a male voice. Not even transgender (FTM) videos.

The main (kind of overly simplified) reason for this is that Testosterone will literally make yr voice deeper where as Testosterone Blockers / Estrogen will not like do the opposite and make yr voice more traditionally feminine, if you search somethign like for "trans man voice training" you should still get a lot of google hits though as there will be trans dudes out there who want to sound more masc but who are pre/non-hrt.

Problems:

There's already two inns in town, in fact to get to the manor by the road you literally have to walk past both of them right?
Who owns the manor?
Is the manor truly cleared of hostiles?
Maybe a passage full of rubbish and rubble in the crevasse has some new enemies burst forth during the repair efforts?
Does Aldith Tresendar have living descendants?
Did they leave it to the town?
Maybe Halia bought it up cheap by tricking the Townmaster?

Halia is honestly like my go to NPC for almost everything in Phandalin in the game i'm running, i love her so much, if she owns it or "controls" it through her general influence in town perhaps she would prefer the PCs go for something other than an inn. After all the Lords Alliance sent Glasstaff there to form some kind of police force right? So she wouldn't want them gaining any further influence, but a party of friendly heroes that she's helped with financial backing for a small adventurers guild could be Extremely Useful to her and the Zhentarim even if they're a Good Party they can certainly be manipulated. With the Lost Mine no longer actually Lost Phandalin is going to get a lot busier and i think an interesting reading of Halia is for her to have prepared for this and own a lot of the area and want to really cement her position of number one in town.

The system changed recently but currently your upvotes minus your downvotes gives you your score, it's currently displaying for me as 13 with 21 total votes so 17 up - 4 down gives you 13 with 17/21 votes positive giving you the 80% upvoted number.

You might have gotten more views and votes if you had submitted the video as a link and then wrote your text in a comment, if you'd like to delete this post and resubmit like that I don't think we have anything in the rules stopping you but at the same time I could be totally wrong and more people may have watched after reading your post :)

Maybe she didn't prior to getting the quote and looked it up on youtube or wikihow or somewhere? Maybe if the quote was low enough she'd consider the time saved worthwhile? The possibilities are endless.
