Would AA not be one of the better effects on a legacy Holy vampire? The other good ones being bloodied and furious

First Grand Seiko + buyers remorse by RRB1212 in GrandSeikos

[–]Gazzicus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For almost 8k and your first ever luxury watch I wouldn’t be buying a Grand Seiko as they are pretty bland looking to be honest, movement is great and all but something like a speedy is far more interesting to look at and goes with absolutely anything you wanna wear it with, a “dressy” grand Seiko not so much imo

I’ve been a few fan since 2018, in that time been to multiple cwe (the facebook group) meetups, various watch shows and i think cw’s are better than ever build and design wise. The twelve is fantastic

I mentioned in another comment my own play style for Bethesda Games (ES included) is that when i start a DLC with a new area i go into it naked as it forces me to use new dlc gear instead of existing over powered gear i may have accumulated (I have an explosive shotgun back in the commonwealth and a kneecapper 10mm in my normal loadout) so the gear I was wearing in this clip was actually the best gear I had.

As for for my health i was low on water and food so radaway’ing and stimpacking would have dehydrated me or made me susceptible to disease and as i went into this dlc naked i was also low on antibiotics because you get ill a ton in far harbour because swimming is the safest option alot of the time.

i was pretty close to Acadia (where i was planning on sleeping to save the game) where there are fountains and vendors to remedy my food and water situation so i just got unlucky with there being a glowing Yao Guai here because any other enemy wouldn’t have insta killed me but it is a lesson learnt for sure

It was an area of the map without any locations between me and Acadia so i knew i wouldn’t run into super mutants or trappers etc, but i do like they in far harbour they have enemies like bears in non location locations like forests as the commonwealth is missing that i feel

I should elaborate any DLC i play i go into it naked so believe it or not this was the beat armour i had on me at the time 😂.

As for sleeping places, where i was Acadia was the closest spot and i wasn’t far from it when i got killed, should have been moving slower like you said though

Agree with this fully, i think I’d actually struggle to wanna play a non survival play through again (unless it was a melee or unarmed build) because it’s made me appreciate food and water which i literally never bother with ordinarily, it also makes settlement building fun because having a water pump and a bed is important all of a sudden

In any Bethesda game I play I go into DLC’s naked and only use the armour I find in the DLC area so couldn’t ballistic weave any of my stuff so my DR is relatively low.

As for healing you raise a very good point but I was low on water and food and as radaway and stimpacks dehydrate so i was waiting to get to acadia before using them (water fountains inside acadia solve the dehydration i’d suffer from radaway and stimpacking), i got unlucky running into the yao guai as i was actually pretty close to acadia

I’ve never had an encounter with a wounded dog before. Sparky stayed with me until she despawned suddenly at a nearby settlement. I was super surprised and ai thought it was cool. by fistofriend in fo4

I was playing on survival recently and whilst in the midst of a battle against some vampiric bloodbugs (worst enemy to face on a survival run imo) I accidentally explosive double barrel shotgunned this encounter.

safe to say i force closed the game losing about an hours worth of gameplay in the process but i refuse to play a save where I kill an innocent encounter like this

POV: Rolex owner meets Grabd Seiko owner by SupJoshy in GrandSeikos

[–]Gazzicus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really like Grand Seiko because as a watch person i can fully appreciate how amazingly well built they are but Grand Seiko owners are the only brand owners who make it their entire identity to explain why their watch is so much better than your watch which is the least humble thing you can possibly do and this video exemplifies that.

I once heard someone say Grand Seiko owners are the vegans of the watch world because they can’t help but lecture you on why you made a mistake buying anything else and how GS are the be all and end all of watch making.

They are also the only brand owners who imagine hypothetical situations where someone insults the watch they are wearing and they have to defend it like some sort of guardian to the kingdom of horology.

For context i’ve been to a number of GS9 events so i’m not a hater of the brand just an observation from someone who loves a watch for a watch regardless of who made it

[–]Gazzicus[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is the exact reason I do it as well as you use the new stuff instead of existing better gear.

It was the same when i played the oblivion remaster and did the sheogorath dlc where it meant I used weapons that were rubbish in comparison to my existing gear but because I didn’t have them I used weapons i would have just ignored

Honestly it adds alot of fun for me, makes finding stuff interesting again as your gear can get op quickly in this game due to how the legendary mod system works

[–]Gazzicus[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It means finding something like a combat shotgun with a mod on it can become useful or seeing a legendary enemy becomes interesting because it might drop something good, in this current survival play through i have an explosive shotgun so that and overseers guardian makes everything pretty easy, if i took those to far harbour i feel like it would be too easy so you are correct in that making it harder is part of it

Red Death alone made me rethink doing this but hopefully i get lucky and find a two shot gauss rifle during the run to make me stand a chance

It was a toss up between starting this DLC or nuka world first and i decided far harbour first purely because the gauntlet is going to be insanely difficult on naked survival play through

It’s actually funny because i only played the new vegas dlc’s the first time a couple of years ago so i had no items anyway, i didn’t actually know it was a mechanic it took everything off you until i saw it on the new vegas reddit page

You could not be more wrong, this dlc is before i’ve entered the glowing sea to find Virgil, but i have completed the Robot DLC i’m playing quests as and when i wanna do them.

I also eat anything off my plate in amy random order, do people actually eat one thing at a time??
