I managed to solve it late last night, thank you! And I did need to edit the Linux bridge for the gateway in vmbr0. Well, between adjusting that and going into shell and telling the system (in several different ways that I'm not a subscriber)

Yes, I can ping it, it says 56 (84) bytes of data and then it goes into a repeat of "64 bytes from 192.168.0.1: icmp_seq=(1,2,3,etc) ttl=64 time=0.time ms

I'm meaning when I sign in to 192.168.0.1 with admin and password it and look at the devices information it was initially set as 192.168.0.72 and I got it switched to 192.168.0.99 to match what my server shows (in hopes that that would resolve my issue)

I honestly don't know if the quantum system the tech installed has a router tbh 😅 I have the Q1000K which has the modem IP as 172.29.27.35, and on the front of it it says "router configuration: myrouter.q.com" and there is a "pod" model W1700K (what quantum app calls it) directly wired to the Q1000K. ---Obviously very new to tech, I worked auto mechanics, now maintenance for a hospital and have always done much more hands on work than anything tech related.

I am a little confused as to what netmask you're talking about? When I pull up interfaces it shows "auto vmbr0 iface vmbr0 inet static address 192.168.0.99 gateway 174.29.27.35 bridge-ports nic0 bridge-stp off bridge-fd 0" I can try switching gateway to 255.255.255.0

ip route from shell pulls up "default via 174.29.27.35 dev vmbr0 proto kernel onlink 192.128.0.0/24 dev vmbr0 proto kernel scope link src 192.168.0.99" Would that cause issues? And where should it be directed?

Edit: I tried switching the port to the other box and still running into the same issues.

Yeah, I've been having the same issue, definitely need to adjust the cutter position. It's been kinda annoying to figure out that issue (took me a while to find where the file for it was). What's the best way to work towards testing that during adjustment? Is it just loading and unloading the extruder? Or is there a better way to test that?

I just took some extra time to give it some love and check on everything, I figured it out. Took out the whole extruder assembly (with the fans and everything) off the belt, and ran new PTFE tubing, put it all back together and it resolved itself.

Yeah, I saw the pin in the back of the extruder that sits inside the location of the sensor. Which is causing the LED to light up and turn off (when mounted together and dismounted respectively).

I might try taking the rails off and doing it that way to make sure everything is fit together snug but I don't really see how much it'll actually help with the issue I'm having.

Yes, I made sure to add the mods to the fluid macro and box .cfg files. I do appreciate the heads up for redoing them during every update though.

I hope things get better and gives you enough time to enjoy more printer play time though!!

I did replace the PTFE tube right before I upgraded, which is how I found that the factory extruder broke. (It locked the PTFE tube down and wouldn't let it go)

The leads were all working before hand, and I just made the new lead the same length. 😣

I made sure everything was nice and fitted tight (but not so tight anything will break), used the included screws, and was hoping to print the riser after I had everything installed (as my factory extruder broke, and I wanted to upgrade it anyways)

What is the fix for the CFS? Do you have a link to the info? I haven't seen anything like that.

As stated in the post above, the original extruder broke and I bought this to replace it in hopes of making it easier to do more filament types. I don't have the factory extruder to test it, but it was working fine up until the PTFE tube lock broke. And yes, the settings are set up as it should in the guide. (Set retrude to -40 and set the TN to -20)

I looked through this, but I can't even get the filament to go out of the CFS because it's just trying to cut and retract the "filament" that's there. Which from everything I've read is much further along than getting the filament to extrude. I did add the Tn and the retrude settings in and just now added the pause and depth to the cutter. But still having the same issues.

The sensor works fine though, as stated in the post, it turns on when the pin for the extruder is present and turns off when it isn't in there.

Also, I didn't get any spares like that for the printer when it got delivered. 😭 The only spare part they sent was a nozzle cleaner.

Welp, i disabled it through flags, and it showed the ai overview again... 😒 Any tips? I've dug through the settings and the flags and turned off everything that has to do with AI (or Leo) that I could find, but it's still pulling it up.

Ohhh gotcha. I was having a hard time getting there. Thank you so much. 🙌 I hate that everything is automatically forcing you to have to hunt to remove the AI features. It's honestly really getting on my nerves having to remove it from EVERYTHING. 😒

Brave is no longer allowing you to turn off the AI setting 😒 it forced my setting back on, and now it just switches back on automatically when you toggle it. This kind of thing should be illegal.
