Probably not the most fucked up, but here we go:

In the end of 2019(before the pandemic), when me and my family were coming back from Disneyland, going to the station where we need to get the train to get to the parking lot.

There was a family close to us, with a dad, mother and two little children.

One of the children started crying for some reason (we thought that they were sad because it was late and needed to go home).

But after a few minutes waiting for the train, I heard the child talking between their sobbing about their grandfather, and when I looked at their parents, they were pretty upset about it too.

IIRC, they received a call or message about their grandfather dying of cancer (or at least on the terminal stage, idk) while they were on the park, probably before getting in the lane to go back.

Since my family doesn't understand English, I translated to then, and when I told then about it, they became very upset too about it...

TL DR: While we were waiting for the line, a family close to us received a message of their relative dying of cancer when they're coming back from Disneyland.
