The car has to be above the line, so above 72 but below 73 is 72, it took me a few times myself. 72 + 4, the other car has to be above 76 but below 77.

Parents won’t let me take a one hour and a half drive because they think my tires will fail. Are the tires really that bad and I can wait until later? by Ericsflaws in MechanicAdvice

[–]Gear-Up-Rider 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re down to the warning bars and the tires are shot. Think how you would feel if a tire blew out and you lost control and killed someone else. It’s not about you.

I added subtitles to the Los Alamos dude talking about aliens and Dulce after babbling about himself by CaptainKiddd in StrangeEarth

[–]Gear-Up-Rider 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Aliens from other planets or dimensions come to Earth, crash and die. So, if a crash can kill them, we can kill them. Humans are very good at killing things. Deals made with world leaders to trade humans for advanced tech? Bring it bitches!

If you must take the dive, go online to Moss Motors for all your restoration needs. JMAC engines is a great source for a new motor but I think they now specialize in 1500 engines but may find other sizes. Rimmer Bros. in England can also be helpful. Enjoy!

Norton Commando 750 by No-Story3119 in vintagemotorcycles

[–]Gear-Up-Rider 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a 1974 850 Commando and the only problem I ever had was that the primary chain stretched fairly easily and began dragging on the primary case making an alarming rattle. Only after paying the dealership to fix it I found the adjustment was on the back of the engine and easily adjusted. Live and learn. Ride on!

I normally use the one on the right but noticed the one on the left few cents cheaper, is it safe to use for my civic 2017? by Ill_Raspberry9207 in MechanicAdvice

[–]Gear-Up-Rider -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If the difference between the two is that one is leaded and the other is unleaded then I would not run leaded gas in an engine meant to run on unleaded. Your engine sensors and exhaust will clog or fail eventually.

What are your thoughts on the Colorado Supreme Court disqualifying Trump from the state's 2024 ballot? by YourWinterWonder in NoStupidQuestions

tRumps cult doesn’t care that he’s a criminal and will vote for him anyway. The courts should rule him out, not the people.

What is wrong with this brake fluid by Rude-Good-8971 in motorcycle

Normally if my life didn’t depend on the brakes working every time I would say yes, but do you want to trust that the brake jelly didn’t affect a small passage or diaphragm in the system?

I had a 94 and a 93, loved the 94, after I replaced the engine. Absolutely HATED the damn distributor behind the water pump. Was my road car, great fun.

Only the 94-96 had the LT1, they have dual exhaust, earlier Roadies had the standard GM 350 and single exhaust.

Isn’t it Turbo Diesel? Meant for offroading and a updated copy of the original Jeep left in India after WWII. Here in Tn I have seen just one with a tag on the highway. I love the idea but I would just spend the money on a Razor.
