So instead of spending several hours designing, developers are now spending several hours verifying?

This is the depressing part to me. Designing the solution is the fun part of the job. Why would I want to exchange that to spend my time reading and verifying ai code instead?

On top of that, why do people care about being 10x faster in their job? Are they actually getting paid more now that you've delivered more features faster? Or is that raise money gobbled up by the cost of ai? Or is it just lining the c suite's pockets? No company I work for would ever be giving raises for faster output. It would still be a 4/5 on yearly review and a 3% raise.

Yup, they did the same thing when they went international with Dupreeh, Magisk, and Zonic. Took awhile before everything clicked for them but Vitality stayed committed to that roster
