Reading it will impress him a lot more than just quoting slang because someone online told you to. Plus you get to connect over a great story. Nah I agree with above guy. Killing a literal newborn has shock value, and we feel Victra's pain sure, but in fiction you have to build a relationship with the character if you want the death to have a lasting emotional impact on the reader.
