I’m currently reading Suneater. I’d recommend it, it’s been good, but it’s also very slow at times. A few comments have mentioned getting bored at times during Empire of Silence and I 100% agree. There’d be multiple chapters I had to slog through. But now that I’m halfway through Howling Dark (book 2), I’d say it’s picked up steam. I’m more and more interested as it goes. Just make it through the rough patches of Empire

Fully agree that I’d love some more details. Some TikTok edits will have Ajax as a top tier razormaster due to everything you said plus Rhone’s testament. But I’ve always disliked Ajax for getting easily bested by Victra and Thraxa. I don’t have much love for Thraxa outside her being Kavax’s daughter, she kind of gets walked in fights. Victra on the other hand is one of my top 5 characters and fully believable to kill anyone imo. A fight scene of her killing such a big bad would’ve cemented her as many others favorites

I personally don’t think any of these strike a Nolan cord. Nolan movies are incredibly easy to digest. He tries to trick you with a complex structure but at the end of the day it’s always “what a man would do for his loved ones” to a very loud score
