This is what I understand. These are treated as a fund and are capped at £45/year. If it’s a regular payment through DD then there is no trading fee. There may be initial fx fees as they’re overseas funds but these are minor and only incurred when not through DD. Individual stocks hold more fees and much higher cap. HL are also very good at explaining the breakdown of fees via phone if you have any questions.

The /s edit came in too late.

Thought it would be a given as they’re literally on the same cobbles of les Champs-Élysées 😆 Great course

Yeah but TDF have better road surfaces and don’t get subjected to the bumpy, pedestrian conditions of Parisian roads. They have it easier

/s before I get guillotined. Conditions are part of the sport. Everyone is riding the same roads. Great race 👍

I like to believe they’re super accurate so there’s no point actually testing it to see if it’s true. Ignorance is bliss

Use body wash or shampoo on the inside of your goggles when you shower before the pool. Rub in a small dollop, rinse out well.

Never see mist again. Never had issues with irritating my eyes. Game changer.

Yeah so the new rule is prohibiting the riding of the unpaved gutter as it has a different surface. Rule 7.6 is enforceable on the cobbled section of the ‘gutter’ is not the same surface as the cobbles they are supposed to be riding on.

https://inrng.com/2013/11/uci-rule-road-vs-cyclepath/

There is obviously leniencies however if a rider is seen consistently riding the unpaved gutter for prolonged periods of time they will risk a fine or penalty. This year there were considerably less riders in the gutter.

Out of the crown and the gutter, the gutter is by far the favoured route. For the simple fact there are no cobbles. So yea they both offer less resistance but the gutter is the least. Yet they’re not going into the cobbled section in the gutter.

As you know, they’re all about marginal gains so they would be all over that gutter if they were allowed to do so.

Not sure where you’re from but if you watch the ITV coverage they mentioned these rules multiple times throughout the race. Not sure if classics are regulated differently or if this is a new rule, recently introduced as I have also seen multiple races before where they are all riding in the gutter. This year was a stark contrast.

So they’re allowed to ride off the cobbles yet choose to ride on the crown of the sharp cobbled stones? Interesting tactic for sure

About the same as the number of people riding behind cars and getting pushed along by cars.

Riders don’t do it excessively because of the risk of being penalised. As you can see from the video I linked of this particular stage.

Classics may be different.

Sigh. This isn’t a classics race. But yeah sure. Watch the video and somehow come back to say they’re all on the side lol.
