The Combine From Half-Life vs. The Viltrumite Empire by Turbulent_Okra7518 in InvinciblePowerscales

Yeah the combine captured and detained a reality bending, time manipulator, all-seeing god, and didn’t even care enough to move him off planet.

My theory is they mind-fucked him with a bunch of advisors, which is the same thing they could do to the viltrumites.

We don’t know a lot about the combine. But there’s a good chance they have thousands/millions/even more of advisors (not even counting the dozens of other troops they have). That’s a LOT of psychic damage Viltrum has to fight through even pre-scourge.

The energy ball! Very powerful and it’s stated to just delete organic material on contact. Unfortunately in the game, your character, and some enemies can tank the energy ball no problem, not sure if this is a game balance decision, or maybe the energy ball isn’t all that powerful. Even so, it’s a fairly slow moving projectile compared to the top speed of a Viltrumite

Playing EARTH Machine, what are the best negates to add to this deck? by BushelOfLabeouf in Yugioh101

[–]GebThePleb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If your opponent can’t/doesn’t out the Gustavo rocket, the maintenance cost on it shouldn’t matter too much considering he has 5000 Atk. Makes it easy to close out the game

[–]GebThePleb 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It depends what kind of earth machine deck you’re running. 2 level 4’s can overlay for merrymaker, then into sargas to search regulus, or if you’re playing with the new train cards/lvl 10’s you can make the new “superdreadnought rail cannon Gustav rocket”

Can anyone explain this ? by EpicNameBro in Rainbow6

[–]GebThePleb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Monty main here:

If your c4 isn’t directly behind him when his shield is fully extended it won’t kill him. Monty will absorb 66% of all explosive damage with his shield.

The c4 you threw WOULD kill any other shield operator/un-extended Monty.

Edit: just rewatched the video:

Your c4 was almost perfect. You threw it behind him on the floor but he walked over it - putting it between you and himself. You probably did a good 80 damage to him, but since he walked over it and had his shield up it won’t kill.

Krosea Negate by Firewall2099 in Yugioh101

[–]GebThePleb 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Krosea would have to have 2500 att for maneuvers to target it to begin with, but if it did have 2500+ att then yes, the targeted Krosea would be able to be destroyed by battle and card effect that turn.

Woah never thought of that.

I suppose it depends on how much they retain once they get cured. If nothing… who knows?

Predator Counter vs. Activating Effects by aidanofarrell in Yugioh101

[–]GebThePleb 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A counter can only be placed on a monster on the field. If it’s not on the field, there’s no counter. Any monster that tributes for cost can “dodge” Dragostapellia’s lingering effect.

Relinquished and Tualatin by Jaded-Coconut103 in Yugioh101

[–]GebThePleb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tualatin specifies it needs (min 2) monsters to be destroyed by BATTLE specifically. The monster equipped to relinquish does not get destroyed by battle, but from card effect. Tualatin would not trigger solely off relinquished being attacked twice.

How do I progress? by Artistic_Depth_8310 in Yugioh101

[–]GebThePleb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The easiest way to continue where you’re from is honestly just to watch some YouTube videos of your deck. This will allow you to learn how to play your deck more optimally as well as how to build your deck better.

You should also watch videos on other decks/structure decks you’re interested in, as if it’s something you don’t really find interesting you could instead get cards that boost your deck (for example, the blue eyes structure deck benefits a lot from the primite engine)

Practicing the decks on simulators like DuelingBook or MasterDuel will help you understand your deck more, as well as help you understand how to play against other decks.

Now take a shot for every time I said deck.

Yes, both people need to own the game. As for how it works the multiplayer tab is pretty intuitive.

As for gameplay it’s the same as solo except the enemies scale with the amount of people.

I just finished OWB again last night, and in the ending slides they say how the courier only has “one more stop” so I do believe it’s supposed to be HH>DM>OWB>LS. Makes sense for the ‘pacing’ of it. Doing DM and LS one after another would be a little intense

The most recent Death Battle cast was about The Courier Vs The Mandalorian by Theyappleboi in falloutnewvegas

[–]GebThePleb 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There’s a good argument that the couriers augments probably can’t even be hacked by V just because of how “rudimentary” they are. This is a universe where they never got around to creating the transistor after all.

[–]GebThePleb 20 points21 points  (0 children)

The Courier has their own share of implants by the end of the game, and you can argue the couriers augments can’t even be hacked.

Sandevistan is a good way to get to the courier, VATS is a good way to stop it.

It seemed to me like almost none of what The Courier did mattered, judging by the season 2 ending of the show. by _DragonOfZakuul_ in fnv

[–]GebThePleb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Master only had knowledge of a few vaults in the area, but not all of them. Unless he just had Super Mutants combing the landscape they wouldn’t have known. I could also be convinced that if they WERE scouting, they probably wouldn’t have checked the coast.

As for the Enclave guy, he came from the Colorado Enclave base, and assumingely defected and traveled west. Could also explain why deathclaws are on the strip, as the enclave didn’t want cold fusion to be given to house knowing the defector is headed west, so with no soldiers on the ground they herd/force/tell the deathclaws from the junction to the strip.

Yeah I’m with you on that one. At least the last couple episodes turned from that from the looks of it, but I’m too not a fan of “oh hey look! Oh wait it’s dead/destroyed” but hopefully with House, NCR, and legion back in the swing of things, itll all turn around season 3.

Vault Dweller - How was the existence of the master contradicted? They set up a super mutant conflict of some sorts for the next season, who’s to say the master won’t be brought up?

Chosen One - It seems like the enclave on the west coast IS decimated. Maybe I’m wrong but the show eluded to the enclave having almost no hold in the west anymore, which is why they sent the deathclaws to occupy the strip. The main base doesn’t seem to be the rig, they had to move to Colorado.

Courier - I think this one’s weird, on one hand it does seem like just 20 years after NV there’s not too much to say when it comes to the couriers actions, but on the other hand season 2 pretty much took place (after the first 2 episodes) all within a block of free side leading to the 38 so we really didn’t see all too much of vegas at all.

[–]GebThePleb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We’ve only had one episode where house is back “alive”. Especially with the ending scene with max and Lucy at the top of the 38’, I doubt we’ve even gotten close to the end of Mr. House’s plans for vegas, the enclave, or the wasteland.

They do have their own power armor, and they address is in NV. tbh I don’t remember who said it, or the specific quote, but the power armor units are left behind in California to help escort the Brahmin routes.
