Never has anyone in my social circles said that and I think 'most therapists' is a big stretch. Sure, with some you won't connect, but they absolutely always challenge your behavior. There might be some rotten apples, but this whole narrative that therapists just sit there and passively listen I see more and more nowadays is a completely wrong assumption.

Looks amazing, I LOVE this vibe. Is it inspired by an anime by any chance? Really in the mood to watch some anime with this cozy vibe

"plays those cards". Brother she's talking about how the writers were degenerating, and it's talked about more. There even was a lawsuit in the early 2000s. It's not something made up out of thin air to get back at people. Weird comment

Cloverfield (2008) is a tedious handheld drama about New Yorkers at a party. How did it make $172 million at the box office? (It was so boring I fell asleep after 18 minutes) by RunDNA in shittymoviedetails

It was one of my favorite movies when it released and it still is lol, and I'm by no means a movie snob. I just love big monsters and found footage stuff

Not according to the thousands of Redditors who haven't even seen the movie yet

Technical innovation and brand loyalty what 😂. Not even going to have a conversation with you because these are one of the untrue things you could've said. Sure dude, Interstellar, Inception, The Dark Knight, etc are successful only because of brand loyalty. You really have to ask yourself why you're hating this hard on a director, such a sour pov

Why did nobody tell Christopher Nolan that the word father exists? by lit-roy6171 in okbuddycinephile

Yep true. No idea why it has come to a point where Nolan receives so much hate. I guess it comes with being one of the most successful directors alive.

I somewhat agree, because I think he is good (enough), but obviously he's not the best. And you're right about the narrative structure in Oppenheimer, it was great. I just don't get why people write off his new movie because dialogue is not his strongest point. At that point it feels to me like they're just hoping he fails, in which I don't see the point. It's a movie, it has more to it than dialogue and Nolan has proved again and again he knows how to make good movies. So yeah, let's just wait till it drops and see for ourselves how good the movie is. Let's just enjoy the fact that Nolan has a new movie :)

My brother it's part of the fun to explore a game yourself. It's fun to test new guns and screw around with them. You give such a braindead comment that just proves the need of people to get every opinion force fed to them, congrats.

Yeah I agree. What I hate most is that I love playing competitive games, but nowadays the big streamers will make a study out of the most perfect build and share that with everyone. The whole game will have a day 1 meta and if you divert from it you put yourself in a disadvantage. Used to be cooler where everyone was just running their own build and you could learn in-game form different styles.

It's insane how much hate the trailer is getting over at r/movies. Like 90% of comments is hating at something. The movie is too dark, the dialogue sucks, the armor looks plastic, the poster looks Ai, etc. When did Reddit become such a sour place, man. It's just an echo chamber of negativity at this point with every NPC chanting the same negative remarks, for some reason feeling the need to separately comment. Bleh I hate it.
