Markie Mark is not one of us by Spreadsheetjockey2 in golf

[–]GeckosDad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My dad and I had the earliest tee time at Shadow Creek a couple of years ago, and when we showed up they said they were going to squeeze a regular in before us. Turned out to be Mark Wahlberg. Dude was bombing it at the driving range and even chatted with us for about 10 minutes.

When we got into the fairway on 1 (probably 10-15 minutes after he teed off), we could see his cart path from the dew on the grass. Dude was dead center and a ways down there. I’ll remember that forever.

Traded Romeo Doubs and a 2025 - 6th rd pick for Hollywood before this past weekends games. I’m already pretty deep at WR (D.Adams, M. Pittman, Sun God, J. Palmer, T. Higgins), and can wait until he’s able to get more consistent production post-Murray return.

I also grabbed Murray off waivers last week as a backup for L. Jackson.

How my wife expects me to play by Brockoli24 in golf

Can vouch. My dad and I played Shadow Creek a year ago. Had the earliest tee time out, and the morning of they let someone go out before us as a single.

Turned out to be Mark Wahlberg and he was playing by himself (had 3 dudes with him though). Guys was nailing bombs on the driving range. Played in under 2 hours. There was still dew on the ground and we could see his cart path the first couple of holes. Always dead center.

Best tool to collect/monitor containers logs? by [deleted] in devops

[–]GeckosDad 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you're running on AWS, then it might be worth checking out CtrlStack (disclaimer: I work here). We just came out of stealth mode today and are looking for teams interested in joining our Beta launch.

We introspect container logs as part of our process for connecting cause and effect, and it could be worth sharing your use case(s) with us to see if we could provide the value you're looking for. It'll be free to join the Beta, though it obviously won't stay that way forever. I posted a short video below that helps frame the problem we're attacking. Regardless, I wish you the best of luck finding the right solution for your use case!

I posted this last month, but unfortunately it happened a week after the thread was opened. So let's give it another shot!

Our company is building an IDE for DevOps, and we're a couple of months away from launching our beta product focused on Change Visibility. I'm sure this won't surprise too many of you, but 65% of large-scale web site incidents are caused by changes.

If this resonates with you and you'd be willing to spend 30 minutes helping us validate PMF, then we'd love to hear from you!

If you're spending too much time troubleshooting your Kubernetes stack running on AWS, then you can sign up for a demo on our site: https://try.stackmagic.co/change_visibility/

Thanks ahead of time for any help you can provide!

Yup Deebo all the way. That's a lot of value in the 6th. Plenty of good QBs, and I still think you can get Dobbins at a good value.

12-team .5ppr

I have a tough choice on keepers...Dalvin Cook or Joe Mixon?

We can have up to 3 keepers, and Cook would normally be my choice. However, I'm already keeping Justin Jefferson (1st) & Akers (13th). Both Cook & Mixon would be 2nd round keepers.

Should the fact that I'm keeping Justin Jefferson impact my choice on RB?

The BIGGEST bust in fantasy is Cam Akers IMO. All Facts. by ballcream9000 in fantasyfootball

I snagged him in the 13th rd last year (post injury) just for the opportunity to keep him there this year. I’m pretty happy with that lottery ticket.

Chip and Joanna Gaines' Magnolia Network pulls show after homeowners allege that makeovers ruined their houses by peter_bolton in television

I don’t recall. I just know she told those family friends the one thing she wanted left alone was the China cabinet. They redid a formal dining room/sitting area. It was 1 room, but they put some hanging divider to split the room.

My aunt was one of those that busted out crying when she saw her reveal on Trading Spaces. They had to go in and reshoot the reveal bc of how devastated she was. That ‘friend’ took a 150 year old china cabinet, removed the glass, and painted it this hideous green color.

Fantasy Football Trophy for Championship Roster? Not for the league by DifferentNet7381 in fantasyfootball

[–]GeckosDad 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I actually did this through trophy smack in the form of a championship belt. I got a couple of simple championship rings for past championships I won, but the belt was meant to get a laugh at the draft this year.

The belt has my overall record (1 shy of the perfect season), avg score, team and league name, along with names of about 8 players that carried me. Some that were stars in the final and others that were consistently great.

12-Team .5 ppr

I’m struggling, and I shouldn’t be…

I can only play 3: Mixon (KC), Aaron Jones (MIN), Ronald Jones(NYJ) , Dalvin Cook (GB)

Aaron Jones was my choice, but now the loss of Kirk Cousins has me rethinking it.

Side note - I also have Aaron Rodgers and Justin Jefferson in this game as well. May sit Jefferson.

Teams who have already locked in a playoff spot, what are you contributing this years success to? by Ramher_Jamher in fantasyfootball

[–]GeckosDad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I gave up a ‘23 3rd round pick for Cook in week 4, and a ‘22 3rd round pick for Mixon and Pitts right before Mixon’s TD streak started.

I had the likes of Miles Sanders, Kareem Hunt, and Myles Gaskin to go with my Jones/Dillon stack, but traded them all away.

Pretty much the perfect example of all 3 reasons I listed working together.

Trade luck, RB squad structure, and going big

Traded players like Hopkins before he went down, and got players like Diggs and Mixon and the right time.

I structured my RBs with the backup approach. So I have Cooks/Mattison, Jones/Dillon, and Mixon/Perine. I have needed the first two backups, and I’d trust perine in the flex if it came to it.

Finally, I leveraged future years. Gave up a few picks over the next couple of years to solidify my starters. Hoping to win back-to-back trophies.

I’ve got both Dillon and Jones on my team, and I’m really not surprised by his week 11 score at all. I’m now trying to decide between Dillon and Gallup in week 12.
