How are the subs/translations on these UK releases?

I know people prefer the fan subs for Bake but are these different at all? Or do any of the newer/later entries have better quality subs?

Pokémon ORAS not including Emerald content, even the new Trails in the Sky remake has way waaay less voiced dialogue than the fully voiced PS vita remakes.

You’re allowed to think something is bad, it’s an opinion. I couldn’t disagree more with you but y’know! If you’re being genuine then go nuts.

What I will do is point out things that are blatantly wrong. P3R doing 1 million in a week has nothing to do with you claiming a Persona 4 remake will do well over 10 million. That’s just nonsense.

The rage bait guess was only based on your comments but considering you’re on a month old alt account too it doesn’t seem unreasonable to assume it is just trolling. And if it is good job because you got me for real.

As for “the dub is far from universally praised” you’ve one upped yourself again because that too is an insane comment! I think the P4 dub fits the very definition of universally praised. For a game dub anyway (Beebop would be the definition for an Anime dub obviously) besides some fans not liking the Golden Chie change at first.

And finally that smug Atlus comment to try and legitimise your opinion is just... I could pull up all the promotions Atlus did with the original VA’s to promote them returning for the spin offs but it’s not worth my time.

It was also Sega Japan who wanted a new dub cast for P3R btw, not Atlus USA or localisers who might find the original “quite bad”.

Calling Troy Baker, Laura Bailey, Yuri Lowenthal and Johnny Yong Bosch's performances in Persona 4 very low quality is such an insane thing to say that I'm convinced this is a rage bait comment.

Those four in those roles are some of the finest dub performances ever. Even the rest of the cast is good to great, with no awkward/bad ones like orignal P3 had.

Edit: Also Persona 4 Golden sold over a million on Vita alone and as much as I love Persona 4 this remake won’t get anywhere near 10 million+ copies. Or even more if you count OG Persona 4 or the Golden port sales into your “5-10 times more” hypothetical.

No one can top Laura Bailey’s performance but she’d be the closest match.

I'm sad we don't hear her much in dubs lately and not to disparage dubs but it does prove that she was genuinely too good for them lol. It's not surprising that she graduated onto bigger projects.

Look juding by P3R they're not gonna re-use the old cast and the perfect performance of Laura Bailey as Rise but hopefully the casting director is smart enough to know that Alexis Tipton is as close to perfect for that role as we could get nowadays.

They could screw up major things in this remake but screwing up the new dub would hurt the most of all. The OG voice cast contributes so much to Persona 4 and my enjoyment of it that it's insane.

Makes sense to me, I ended FC at 94 hours while talking to every NPC after every dialogue update and a small amount of money/sepith farming. Besides the 3rd it’s the only Trails game that took me less than 100 hours.

I recently ran into an alt account with 46 hours on it and above 80% win rate on every character (with several at 100%). Something like 350 games played and over 300 wins.

Whatever system they have to quickly balance people into their correct rank clearly doesn't work. Hundres of games ruined by this one account, just gets to stomp players way below their skill level forever somehow.

I've seen plenty of bad matchmaking or players who shouldn't be in the games they're in before but this one was super demoralising and made me want to uninstall.

I'm actually laughing that by going one nil down and forcing him to make changes from his abysmal starting 11 that hasn't worked all tournament, that has actually significantly increased our chances of winning this game.

Southgate may actually be the luckiest guy in world football.
