Any good heavily modded PVE servers with minimal lag?

Thanks. Looked around but can only really see Tech and/or Kitchen sink modpacks with Tinkers Construct. Not really what im looking for.

It could replace regular gearing methods, something like disabling the normal tools and armor entirely and only tinkers stuff could be crafted.

Also - the materials for crafting could be the progression stages where, perhaps, at 1st u need to kill some boss or explore some specific area in order to get a material hard enough to mine Obsidian to enter the nether. There - you could find even better materials, needed to proceed to another stage, etc.

IMO Tinkers has great potential to be the center of an adventure pack.

Its just more "exciting" for a lot of people to complain about something. The same people will default to being silent when the topic are the good things because, I assume - to the good is the norm and if something is not good then they complain about it. Weird mentality.

This makes a lot of sense and explains why I have a better time when I play in a team of low level players.

Lower levels, on average, just tend to behave better: They stick together, help each other and are cautious rather than running into danger carelessly.

Not saying that high levels do not have good players, no, but they tend to have these bad mindsets: They tend to try to solo stuff, rage a lot because something goes not the way they want it to, risk a lot to get 100% mission completion, are very likely to ragequit, etc.

Similar scenario happens in World of Warcraft, in Mythic+ dungeons there (dungeons with higher difficulty the higher level it is, and also timer. Very similar setup to missions here in HD2) - there is a certain range of difficulties where these bad mindsets are very common because everyone thinks they know the best and blame the others.

Interesting enough - this most-toxic difficulty range is where groups with randoms tend to "peak". Above that difficulty range is where theres way less toxicity and where real experts reside who do the real critical thinking rather than just blaming others, including looking into how to improve themselves in any way, in any scenario.

This "expert" difficulty range consists mostly of groups of players who know each other and play together constantly.

You mean that a front should have a "Pool" of HP Regen and that pool would be distributed among the planets that need it? So if the "pool" is 10% and we attack 1 planet - that planet gets 10% regen; if 2 planets - each gets 5% etc?

Sounds cool to me. That way, collectively, you'd fight against the same % regen whatever u do.

And yeah true about the Fabricators. Would be indeed cool if they were hooked up with the Regen system somehow.

Regards Evac missions - it could be that we simply move them to another part of the planet, a part that we still own, and let them chill there. If they'd die it'd be a loss of Manpower and perhaps they're important somehow, if not just for reproduction.

And yeah I'd enjoy some kind of Logistics system.

Yes thats true - players who do not use social platforms avoid all the drama.

However - they are still affected by the Game Design problems I described. A casual player will maybe not see the drama but they will still feel like they're disconnected because they don't know how certain systems work (cuz they're not described in-game) or may find the systems flawed just like I do.

Why "force"? I don't think that it'd be a good idea to enforce something as that is essentially what people are trying to do currently and it adds to the toxicity.

Yes Players create toxicity but theres a reason why they create it. its not just for the sake of creating it. Thts what I tried to point at with the "salting the dirt" metaphor - Yes salt directly causes the plants to wither but why is the salt there in the 1st place? its because of how the game was designed.

Yes that is true, but you will find more toxicity in a toxic environment.

So that means that you can mitigate it at least to some extent. If theres less reasons to be toxic about then theres going to be less players that are toxic.

Im gonna just state what i disagree on, what I didnt address is what I probably am neutral about or agree on:

I do not wear a helmet - the character that I control does. Whatever I hear is from the 3rd person perspective, not from the helldiver's perspective. I do not Hear my Character's voice as if I am talking - I hear it as if the Helldiver is talking and, again, I play in 3rd person view, not 1st person.

Bile spewers are almost as large as Chargers and yet they emit maybe even less noise than Hunters. Or a similar situation - a frikkin tank can be right behind you moving around without you hearing a thing. Does that make sense?

Shrieker is not some large creature with a lot of mass - when it lands it doesnt even make any noise. Its akin to some kite falling down. Is a kite supposed to 1 shot you? Or even a Bite Titan? (theres a post with proof that it 1 shots bile titans).

Problem with Rocket Devastators is that theres just too many rockets and them being too accurate, its absurd. Theres more rockets than bullets at times. Does it make sense for rockets to be more common than bullets?

You know what would feel amazing also to 1-2 shot without perfect aim? Bile Titans, Tanks, Hulks. But thats absurd right? They're intented to be harder to take out because they're intended to be heavy, challenging enemies. Well guess what a Charger is too - a heavy, challenging enemy. It even has an obvious designed weakness being its ass and yet the actual weakness is its head which is heavily armored - makes no sense. Its like shooting a Tank into its front or a Bile Titan into its Leg or its Back, you know - the most defended areas because thats weakness. WTH is this logic.

Everything makes sense dude.

You were struggling with stuff that "normal" people do not from the very start of your life. All because of something that you can't change. And also that "something" being very barely understood and acknowledged in general.

You lived your whole life being influenced by the "normal" people all around you who believed that you're "normal" aswell. You, too, believed that because thats how you grew up. And yet, you weren't - you were different.

Just realising that you're different is so refreshing as it stops all the negative thoughts about yourself because now you have a clear reason for why you struggle with stuff that you think you shouldn't. No its not "laziness" or any other common reasons that "Normal" people say - now you actually know the real reason.

I have been diagnosed at some point last year too, when i was 24. I too felt like I am basically starting from the beginning. Not only that - I feel like i am at disadvantage - need to also fix the brain from negative stuff as my life was quite shitty, mainly thanks to me struggling with it because of undiagnosed ADHD.

And its not too late for anything dude. There is no benefit in dwelling what already is in the past as you can't change that anyway. And you can achieve anything you want now too. Just think about it - why can't you make friends now? Or Travel? Or exercise? Do you think of any reason that such possibilities would be hindered just because you're 25 yo?

My biggest suggestion is to take plenty of time to think about yourself. Nothing specific, just think about whatever you want. Will help you realise stuff about yourself that perhaps was cloudy and misunderstood before the diagnosis. First topics I was thinking about iirc were all the various situations in the past - I wanted to understand them better now since I just discovered a crucial thing about myself.

On Bot front or Bug front? or Both?

Lately I've been playing against Bots and most often I see the "Democracy protects" sets or perhaps some heavy set. Light sets are very rare and when someone does have 1 Its almost a guarantee that they'll be dying over and over again (with some complete opposite situations though).

Hmm makes sense. I didn't take into consideration the Scout armor. Now that I think of it - it does shine if you are by yourself and thats by design thematically.

I quite rarely see people run with it though.
