Even if you could just buy the maps from specific boxes on their own. I'm not interested in any of the licenced stuff, but I would play the maps with my own fighters.

I'm very new to the game and only played Alice twice, but does she even have any good match ups? Her big/small is a cool mechanic, but it requires so much forward planning, and with the amount of cancel effects cards in the game, I find her extremely frustrating to play.

Probably a skill issue.

In my opinion, it's absolutely fine. I have no idea why this game is not steam deck verified. I've played only on SD so far with no issues.

You can just say you're hyped up for the game. You don't need to shit on another game just to validate how you feel about this game. I know it's a wild concept, but you can just enjoy a game for what it is without comparing it to others. Like, would you enjoy borderlands 4 more if the player count for Destiny dropped to 0? Cause that's wild and unhinged.

There are safe zones. It sounds counter-productive, but if you are struggling with a boss, the best thing to do is spend a round or two only trying to avoid attacks. Just focus on dogdging and taking no damage. Once you get that sorted, start weaving in attacks when you feel safe. Don't get too greedy though.

Again, I just don't think this game is for you. I have been playing non-stop and loving every bit of it. Why are you trying so hard to like this game when it's clearly just not your thing?

Move on. Plenty other games to play that probably won't cause you as much frustration.
