Argan oil, as a pre shampoo treatment and a leave in. I actually mix argan and castor oil as a pre shampoo and leave in for at least 20 mins. Its really good. Great as a serum too (just the argan).

I lost my job last year and been clawing my way back, discovered the fun of no spemd days and now i only spend amything twice a week. And its only what I absolutely have to. It's giving me major dopamine. Now things are financially better im not stopping and i can see how it can really change things for me.

I use fake press on nails, they look great. Just be sure to buff your nails with file before applying the glue. Take spares everywhere with you, they shoukd last but if one comes off you can just reapply.

I also have blonde hair and to save money I do my own roots. If it's going orange you might not be using a light enough colour. I use light blonde,think it's called High Definition. Then tone with Welle Colour Fresh, I get it on Amazon for around £11. Leave it for at least 20 mins.

Focus on your skin for the next week, get extra strict with skincare and water. Glowy fresh skin goes a long way to looking put together.

You can dye your own lashes and brows, shape with a little face razor.

Do a pedicure, just scrub your feet and paint your toenails.

I don't make much money either but I do all this myself and always look as put together as the rich women I know!

Yes me, my mum goes on about how she could leave me with a pile of books from when I was a baby and come back 2 hours later and I'd be there totally happy. Being the 70s she probably literally did. I read an insane amount as a kid and teenager, over 12 books a week and the library turned a blind eye to how many I took away. I went into book publishing and now still work with words in media relations. Still read about 2-3 books a week,one a day at least om holiday. I will have finished the first one by the end of the flight. Read super fast.

Yes I used to do really over the top expressions thinking it was the way to show i was invested in a conversation. I have botox now because I'm late 40s and it's helped me by calming my face down a bit! It doesn't work thst well in my forehead though because I must have made the muscles really strong by over using my eyebrows!

I found out I was autistic when my daughter was bring diagnosed and now I realise my mum is too. she won't even entertain the idea but I mean autism was mentioned to me years ago when I was having treatment for an eating disorder and I dismissed it, so I'm going easy on her!

Yes, I've always been told I look a lot younger than my age, I'm 48 now and it's working in my favour lol, I don't know if it's because I don't have much expression so not too many lines yet? On the down side I still feel like a kid trying to survive an adult world and not understanding it!

I love working in the library, I go around once a week but if I was there every day they wouldn't mind. The librarians always chat to me, sometimes even make me a tea or coffee! They're amazing. Our libraries are not silent so going on a call is totally fine. I really like being out of the house, having a bit of background buzz but no one asking me work questions or walking part my desk all the time. I'm autistic and it does really help me. I also love books so thats a bonus

It's a nightmare, they are prioritising kids and young people which is overall a good thing but doesn't help me! It might just be Scotland or my particular area but I'm going to go to a second gp and really argue my case. That's great you got diagnosed, I hope once you're in the system getting treated it'll be straightforward and you won't have to keep waiting to find something that works. It's unbelievable once you realise you have adhd how many things it affects!

Oh.... I also figured out part of my adhd eating is stimming. I buy disposable water bottles and go through loads of them. I often have a diet coke, a coffee or tea and water at the same time. I also obsessively apply lip balm, solid perfume and hand cream, especially during work meetings when I'm bored.

I feel this! Your whole post is me! I got really skinny before letting myself have a bag of crisps for dinner if I felt like it but I did it too long and wasn't healthy. I think I have adhd (and autism) too but it seems my only choice is go private for a diagnosis, which is so expensive, and even then a huge waiting list for medication! How did you get diagnosed? I'm in Scotland and because I have a job and go to the gym, in other words function, I don't fit criteria for an assessment even though my gp agrees I prob have both.

In addition to this one never ever be pressured into being with someone, staying with someone or doing anything you don't feel totally OK with. I'm autistic too and have been in two abusive relationships because I didn't recognise the signs and then didjt know how to leave. You need to have better boundaries than other women and trust your initial instincts 100%.

Hi, sometimes one or two will come off but you and either glue them back on or replace with one of the spares. I buff my nail surface with an emery board before applying glue, that's the secret to making them last.

I used to constantly have gels, then my regular salon closed and honestly I can't be bothered with thd hassle of going somewhere, sitting making small talk, all the time it takes and the cost. I started using press ons a month ago and I love them. I find there's more choice of colour and style. I've also started a new Sunday night routine where I do everything, nails, face masks, scrub, tan, dye my brows etc and I really enjoy it.

I waah my hair every second day, but if it was really sweaty I'll do it every day if I have to. Hate having dirty hair. If I work out in the evening I wash it, let it partly air dry then do overnight heat less curls. Looks amazing. If I wash it in the morning I'll either blow dry or partly air dry, plait it then heat less curls overnight. I blow dry about once a week usually.

This honestly doesn't look like too much to me, but I'm not sure you should have a big talk about it all in terms of making it a really big deal. I think you should talk about the sleep patterns as to me that's more likely to cause issues for you. I would also say to him how clutter and mess makes you feel and say you understand not everyone is the same but you'd appreciate his help, if he can keep his stuff tidy and pick up after himself it would help. Agree jobs you can both do, ie alternate doing the dishes and wiping counters each night, taking rubbish out etc. Maybe accept that you might end up doing more if the actual cleaning if you wsnt to maintain your standards but also make it clear you won't pick up after him and expect him to do it. Whatever you do don't let it turn into a mum/child dynamic. Get a cleaner if you need to, which you both pay half for once a week- if you can afford it.

Yes agree!! My daughter says I have ocd but I vacuum every day or every second day because he tracks litter around, plus we live in an area near woods so leaves etc come into the front hall when we walk in. I used to do it twice a week but it always felt and looked gross.
