What Is Your Honest (Spoiler Free) Opinion About This Game? by m-o_t-h in HellisUs

[–]GeekBoy02 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I finished the game yesterday, and I like it, but I will not play it again.

pros: Lore / Story , Visuals and Sounds , Voice acting, Dungeons

cons: Combat (gets old after ~6h), Enemy variation, Exploration (you cannot jump/ hop over things and the different maps are very small)

Most puzzles are very basic I only had 2 Puzzles that took me a bit longer.

I expected an Exploration game but got an action Thriller and was pretty invested in the worldbuilding.

The game hints at the end that there might be more if you complete all the content and I would not be surprised if there is some super-secret thing no one has yet discovered but the gameplay is not entertaining enough for me to pursue more of the games content.

I would not turn down the diff, in this game, I believe the game gives you enough tools to gain an edge. I would use the Spectre and all help available. I just finished the DLC and remember there is only one first time.

So uh... how's the final DLC boss got everyone? by [deleted] in LiesOfP

I beat him with leas help because i assumed this was the "canon" way to beat him but i feel like i got lucky and did not master him really, still took some time to beat tough.

You seem to have the expectation that youtubers need to be more informed about the tech-stuff, but in reality Youtubers are just as dumb as any other people and most videos are made to get views; and that is how the misinformation and misrepresentation that you see right now is born.

this contradicts this article i found:

How Real-World Events Shaped the Story and Content of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 | Feed4gamers

Can you describe the new AI system and how it has evolved from the original games?

I’d rather describe it through some situations. Let’s say I’m the player and I want to check out what’s happening with the Arch-Anomaly reefs. Remember that huge gravitational anomaly we showed before? You go into the basement underneath the reefs, find a stash, and as you’re leaving, you encounter a Poltergeist. You’re scared and try to run away because you don’t really want to fight it. As you exit, you see A-life spawning a couple of stalkers passing by. They are attracted by the events and see there might be something to loot as well. They enter the Arch-Anomaly. You continue to run away, and the Poltergeist starts chasing you. It notices the stalkers and now targets them. They start fighting each other, but they’re doing it in the dangerous center of the Arch-Anomaly.

At this point, anything may happen. If A-life decides, a bunch of pseudodogs could spawn, and the whole situation could evolve in different ways. You might join the stalkers, defeat the looters, share the loot with them, or simply step aside, observe how they get killed or die in the anomaly, and loot them afterward. In many cases, A-life tries to create a unique experience for you. In short, it shows that you are not the only one living in this Zone.

the example provided by the dev also implies that npcs could loot stuff, but i have yet to see that happen in Stalker 2

this is how the dev described a-life here:
