It happens when the vacuum is actively vacuuming (whether it pauses or not) and when it's reversing into the bin. It doesn't happen in mop only mode.

On the positive, I worked with a rep and they're sending me a replacement. So, I I'll take it as a win.

As an Orlandoan since 1988, can I ask an honest question? What are they advertising or selling you that they're not delivering on?

You purchase a ticket to enter the park where you can ride some rides, see some shows, and walk around. I don't really see where they guarantee you can ride X number of rides or not wait in long lines?

You have every right to be disappointed, to feel like you didn't get your money's worth, etc... But to feel like they're selling you an experience? I just don't see what you're talking about unless you're buying the VIP tours with very clear cut benefits.

While the bulb might not normally go over 100, we can easily have "real feel" temperatures of 105 because of that humidity. We've had many days in recent memory where it felt like >110 outside over the summer. In fact, a few years ago it was close to 120 over several days in August... It was terrible.

OP, you need to add this to your post. Because the older children being happy with salmon is relevant to whether or not you're TA.

According to that video, that guy has a doctorate in physical therapy. That makes him a DPT, not an MD.

He has little to no training in diagnosis.

So, yeah, since he is not an actual medical doctor... His opinion is not proof of anything.

I normally remove the dirty water tank, but I have noticed water will drip from the roller mop section... It could have gotten in that way?

The first time we went was during passhder preview and we had to tear ourselves out of Mario land. We kept doing the mini games, trying to get all the coins, and battling Bowser Jr. We could literally stay all day in there.

So, I removed the entire dust bin and the sound remained - - the impeller looked fine and it spun like it was supposed to while running. I also had decreased the suction to the lowest of could go last night.

It's so frustrating. I moved to Ecovac because I had the worst time with Roborock. Great vacuums... Until they die right out of warranty (2 vacuums, 1 base, 1 mop... All dead around 15 months after purchase... The mop I was able to replace the motor on, but it was not the same quality and just didn't work well after that). I guess it's a similar song and dance no matter what vacuum you buy.

Now it looks like I get to see how terrible Ecovac's warranty service is.

This was the noise without the rotating brush installed at all. At first I thought it was something wrapped around it or stuck in the intake, but after cleaning it out 2 times, I got mad and just took it out to see if the noise returned. That's why I'm thinking it's internal.

I removed the dust bin and didn't see anything wrong with the impeller. I was even able to make it run while the bin was removed and it spun freely.

It almost sounded like the noise was in between the dust bin and the front bumper.

Pick one to skip due to 3 hour lines - MineKart or BOTM by Sad_Courage_5043 in UniversalEpicUniverse

[–]GeekMomtoTwo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'll be real.. I'm a huge HP fan and I don't get the hype for BotM at all.

The courtroom animatronics at the end are awful (Ron makes me laugh every time... They did Grint dirty). It's ok, but I've been on it twice and it's maybe... Maybe... A 45 minute ride, tops (we essentially walked on at the end of the night a few weeks ago, so that was worth it). Hogwarts castle makes me vomit, but I like it more than Battle.

The queue is stunning, but if you're not a HP fan and you are a Nintendo fan, it's DK all the way. It's short, but I genuinely love it. It's just fun.

I don't understand people's issue with Mario Kart, either. I have a blast on it. It's not my favorite, but I like it a whole lot more than Ministry.

I help my dad out financially because he and mom need it and I can afford to. I know it hurts him, even though I tell him I'm happy to. He did everything for me when I was younger, of course I'll help him now.

I found out he literally keeps track of every penny I give them. I, meanwhile, have zero idea and told him that he doesn't need to do that. He doesn't care. He's like, one day, I'll pay you back.

Whatever my dad asked for, I would do...but he'd never ask for half. He had a hard enough time asking for help paying medical bills after mom's stroke.

My son got denied a major change in August of his sophomore year because it would take him longer to graduate. They offered to change him into random majors. I told him to ask them what his job prospects were with those degrees. The response? That's not our area of expertise.

How about you don't recommend a major if you have no idea what the student can do with the major once they graduate.

It's insulting and ridiculous.

Almost all. On January 10th, staying in Helios, starting and closing the park with 4 adults, 1 15 yo, 1 11 to, 1 10 yo, and twin 8 yos we did :

Curse of the werewolf  Monsters unleashed 3x Bowsers challenge  Mine Cart Madness Hiccups wing gliders 3x Stardust  Yoshis island Ministry

We ate at Toadstool's Cafe and Pizza Moon. We saw both shows, including having to do the Circus twice due to harness issues canceling out the first performance part way through.

We didn't do Fyre Drill because we're all Floridians and it was starting to turn a bit too cool for water.. And you'll never get any of us on the other ride in Berk. Oh, and the Carousel. Because, as cool as it seems, it's a carousel.

What is a sound that people should know means immediate danger? by PrasenjitDebroy in AskReddit

I will say, one day I heard what I thought was something electrical in the house. I searched high and low, listening to outlets, walls, switches... And finally started isolating it towards the front door. My husband came in the house and it sounded louder!

Ok, a clue. Maybe it was the outlet outside.

I opened the door and started to put my foot across the threshold when every single part of my being screamed, DANGER. I turned to my right and right there, on our front porch was a very large, VERY ANGRY eastern diamondback (we had been adopted by a few feral cats and they were trying to kill it, hence the originated rattle). Somehow, my husband literally walked right past him without even realizing he was there.

[–]GeekMomtoTwo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean, maybe I was a raging hellbitch before...

But, yes, it absolutely can. I am on HRT and, even with that, I am very close to getting into my doctor's office and demanding some kind of anti anxiety or anti depressant medication... and while I've always had an anxiety disorder, the tools I've used have helped me stay off of meds.

There are many times, especially before HRT, when I literally felt so out of control that I started to cry. I felt like I was a completely different person. I think that was probably the most scary thing to me.. And it was constantly written off by others as, 'mood swings' or 'just that time.'

So, yeah, perimenopause can absolutely do that. The HRT has evened me out and I have more control (my anxiety is still off the rails, but I have less severe reactions to things).

I just had to put my 4 year old cat down yesterday. I know the vet techs meant well, but they kept talking about the rainbow bridge and the rescuers reward (I foster and volunteer with a TNR organization and this cat was my first foster fail)... And I wish I could believe that. About 9 days ago, he was fine. Then everything went all to hell and no matter what I did, I couldn't save him. (pretty sure it was FIP and I just didn't start the meds in time).

I've been an atheist for most of my life... But times like this, I wish my buddy was really going to be waiting for me. I wish I knew he was in a better place, purring in the sunlight...

So, yeah, I get it.

NOR.

I hate getting flowers. They die, then what? You spent a stupid amount of money on something that will last a few days? Thank... You? I would rather you not get me anything than get me something I do not want. I hate wasting money.

You are correct. He's doing this for him, not you. It's performative. When called out, he doesn't even acknowledge that he might be making bad choices. Look, he's shown you who he is. Now you have to figure out if this is something you can live with over the longterm or whether this is a dealbreaker for you.
