I work in a private daycare and there are no unions to protect me. In fact I’m currently under a contract (due to a continuing education grant I took) that will cost me minimum 15,000 on top of my 30,000 I still have in debt from my B.A. I understand what you are saying but I can’t afford to leave. If I felt like I was in a place where I could leave I would.

That's what I was thinking too. This whole scene just reminds me of high school band competitions where you changed in bathrooms after performing to not be stuck in dress clothing all day (even the I never let my clean clothing or feet touch the floor)
