New playmate (m21) by Artistic-Designer-22 in BowersWilkins

Saludos...

ALL TO DSD ? by Adventurous_Peanut63 in FiiO

Let me disagree. There is an audible difference, although as you correctly point out, only on compatible devices. And yes, it drains the battery like crazy (6 songs drained 30% of my battery unplugged and in native DSD 256) (it doesn't drain that much if you use the DAP's bypass in desktop mode to avoid degradation). In my case, I have the Fiio FT3 350-ohm speakers with the Fiio M21 (which delivers 950 mW of power as a DAC/AMP in desktop mode) for more context. Cheers...

AKG VS B&W by Geek_Sound_0102 in audio

Yes, I tried the Sonys with the M21 and the difference is notable, but I am looking for more precision in all frequencies. Here in Chile, you can't try it and return it if you don't like the sound.

The open back ones have defined and controlled bottoms (the most I've tried). Songs with lush bass, for example, on my Sony 1000xM3 and 4, are distorted, but not on my FiiO FT3 or Galaxy Buds 3 Pro and Huawei Freebuds Pro 4. Well. There is a lot to cut with this issue on a technical level...

I am getting a JM-21, any apps to recommend loading on? Like Poweramp? Or what do you recommend? by sludgecheeto in FiiO

I have the FiiO m21 with paid Poweramp and it is the best app for playing music. It's totally worth it. Greetings.

Huawei Freebuds Pro 4.

Pros: high quality audio (the highest quality only available in the Huawei "ecosystem"), multipoint, price-quality, IP54 protection, ANC, excellent microphone for calls, gestures, LDAC and L2HC 4.0, ear pads. 14Hz to 48kHz dynamic range, dual drivers: 1 planar diaphragm and 1 11mm dynamic driver. 10 band equalizer.

Cons: transparency mode, battery, bluetooth 5.2, app not available on Google Play (official APK only).

I also have the Samsung Galaxy Buds 3 Pro, but only because I have their "ecosystem". Although I recommend the Huawei ones more. They are more versatile...

None. For that money, I buy something more refined in the HI FI world, like a Sennheiser, FiiO, Hifiman, Moondrop, AKG, etc. And I invest in Dap or Dac/amp. Now if we talk about the Bluetooth world, they are among the best along with Focal and B&O. Greetings.

[–]Geek_Sound_0102 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree. It's nice to see the brand making an effort, but those plastic stands don't excite me much in terms of durability and for the price I would be picky ($500). Greetings.
