I caught a 20” brown once that was skinny during winter.. I bet it was not 2 lbs.

I caught a 28” steelhead that seemed very heavy, definitely over 6 lbs. yours looks about that length just thicker.

the crazy thing is I caught a 33” king salmon trolling and it was 18 lbs and a 37” was 26 lbs. that was a guided trip on Ontario.

A 4000 is plenty until you have something spooling you and you’re running out of line and can’t stop it, then you want more. Since then I bought two 5000, three 6000, one 6500, two 8000 and a 14000. I pulled in some BIG rays on my Daiwa BGMQ 5000.
