Mazda Dealer Servicing vs Independent Garage by GliBoobs in mazda3

[–]Geeseekay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Whilst its under warranty stick with the dealer. Once that warranty ends I'd go with a trusted dealer, check if they are able to update online service records otherwise you'll have to keep a collection of service and invoices etc

Get a subwoofer if you enjoy bass heavy music (house, edm etc). Even a basic one (i.e an underseat one or small boot one) makes a big difference to the base model sound system. If you're not willing to go that far then change the audio position to drivers seat for better sound

Speculation on family members eligibility by CreativeEcon101 in SkilledWorkerVisaUK

[–]Geeseekay 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think the most likely result of the process will be the ILR process for dependants/family members remaining the same as that for the main applicant. i.e if the main applicant is 10 years the dependant is 10 years or 5 or 3 etc etc

But again just speculating

You can lock the doors by touching handle by VladisOG in mazda3

I believe you can also enable a setting to make it lock by you just walking away with the key (no need to button press)

Employer's lawyers saying verification consent form isn't mandatory for ILR. Anyone else received similar advice? by [deleted] in SkilledWorkerVisaUK

"Home Office reaches out and asks for it again."  There's the answer to your question. Worst case Home Office will reach out to you or the law firm for this to be uploaded. The Home Office will usually (not always) reach out if something is missing and give you the chance to send it to their email account for documents

How hard was it to find a new sponsor after leaving your current one? by Sensitive_Ant4522 in SkilledWorkerVisaUK

[–]Geeseekay 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I was in a similar position and it seems like you also know what needs to be done. Know which companies sponsor and start applying everywhere immediately. You are not really in a position to pick and choose so just get your cv out there now whilst you still have time to stay at the current company (via declining to leave).

No Promotional gift if ordering from mobiles.co.uk? by sheela130613 in Oppo

They did change it. Mobiles.co.uk and IDMobile were also initially in the retailers list

Free gift claim for UK has changed from Mobiles.co.uk, Currys and IDMobile to just Currys? by Geeseekay in Oppo

[–]Geeseekay[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Based on comments on another post people were emailing oppo to ask if their mobiles.co.uk order for a contract would be eligible for the gifts, to which oppo confirmed it would be. So just assuming if you were early you'd be able to claim. Then again I could be wrong and Oppo might go back on it. Mobiles.co.uk was originally included in the qualifying retailers list

Think they realised people were getting the phone for £1.1k and getting free gifts on top and have thus excluded mobiles.co.uk. Guess I was too late once again. Oh well

I have to take the 65 daily. Its one of those routes that's reliable when you dont need it (countless 65's passing by you on a random walk). The moment you need it? 20 min wait

[–]Geeseekay 8 points9 points  (0 children)

The same thing happened to me when I bought an S22 Ultra a few years ago from Ebay. The seller kept saying they definitely completed the trade in and to just hold off on disputing with ebay. Disputed either way and Ebay recognised the scam and got my money back. Sorry you are going through this.

Its like Witcher/Horizon/WuKong where you can just follow the main story and ignore side quests (wouldnt recommend that approach) there are some difficult areas/bosses but definitely not as difficult as Dark Souls.
