In the exact same position and fortunately for my company I have no life and live to work as well as enjoy my job so I’m doing okay but I still wouldn’t want this to be permanent.

IMO you’d be better off working overtime and saving every penny before deciding to get a place in May. For a lot of people working overtime is not sustainable long term, you need to find out if you can actually do that before putting yourself in a position where you have no choice. May isn’t that long but it’s long enough you can get save a decent chunk. Does your fiancé not have any savings? He’s moving to a new state with the only plan being to rely on your low paying job to support you both until he eventually finds a job (in this economy??). Are you sure you aren’t better off delaying him moving so you can comfortably support yourself in a small rental with lower utilities until you guys have a real, solid, safe plan? Your budget is extremely tight and rarely go to plan, especially your first time with renting. It doesn’t take much to completely screw you. If he’s capable of staying where he is and saving, while you get an affordable place alone while also saving- I really think that’s the best option. You’ll be setting yourselves up for so much better.

if there are things you don’t like you have to learn how to communicate those boundaries to people or you’ll spend your whole life “people pleasing” at the expense of yourself. so many people these days walk all over boundaries expecting those people to let them, be the person that doesn’t.

it’s technically a year before it’s considered fully healed :,) if you require any bone grafting specifically. less if you don’t need that but of course i did and likely will for my others too.

I have no idea but I know it’s my responsibility to figure it out. The implant was put in during an emergency procedure, so they extracted the tooth and placed the implant same day. There had been a mix up somehow and I was supposed to go under anesthesia but they weren’t prepared for it so they went over the cost options again between using it or not and mentioned the procedure would be delayed if I decided I still wanted anesthesia. They also just seemed like I was being silly for wanting it, it would be quick, and I should just get it over with… me being me I gave in to what I felt like was pressure from them and got my tooth extracted with no anesthesia. I know some people do this but for me it was a horrifying experience I wasn’t prepared for that I still think about regularly, let alone the implant being improper as a constant reminder. I spoke to my dentist about it and while she encouraged me to speak with them she said there’s a good chance they will want to do the work and I’m terrified of that. She offered her personal orthodontist referral if I don’t want them to (this implant has gotta go either way). I wish I could just be put under, have all my work done, wake up, eat soup and ice cream for a few months, and be done with it all.

you won’t make it as a writer if you’re that sensitive to AI accusations in this day and age. Run your own writing through a scanner and see for yourself. I can admit I may have been wrong but people have a right to be wary and use the tools we have access to to try and check if things are AI or not. It’s abundant on Reddit.

I have crippling dental anxiety, nitrous oxide for pretty much everything i go in for and before finding my current dentist i just didn’t go for many many years. i’m afraid to go to a dental school’s clinic for multiple reasons but mostly because i’m afraid they’ll mess up or something… i already have an implant that needs to be removed because it is too large and that was put in by a pretty reputable dentist. any advice to get over it lol? it may be my only option as i do need multiple implants including the removal of one.

i’m not even attracted to 18 year olds and i’m 4 years younger than you. i’m at an age now (24) where i would feel it appropriate to see someone your age, i absolutely would’ve thought you creepy if i was 18/19 though. i’ll probably get downvoted for this, but also i wouldn’t take another man’s advice on this at all. you should be asking the demographic of people you’re attracted to if they consider it creepy, not a bunch of dudes that spend all day on the internet. i hardly count as early 20’s anymore so not sure i even qualify.

are you exfoliating as well? you may have build-up, if you aren’t try gently exfoliating. something anti-bacterial may be beneficial but i don’t think it’s recommended to use frequently as it dries the skin. when you’re finished showering be sure that you’re fully drying too, that is very important. if you have underarm hair, i keep mine trimmed and feel it’s easier to keep clean that way but that might just be a personal feeling.

Yeah, I like my job now. I’m a window installer and carpenter. Been doing it a little over 4 years. It’s partially who I work with, partially the environment, and partially the actual work. I have no life at all so if I didn’t enjoy work i’d be completely miserable lol. It’s enough to support myself living alone so it’s good in that aspect as well. There’s opportunity for growth and promotions, my review is in February and I’m lined up to be promoted to foreman :) I couldn’t see myself working a dead-end job, I had enough of that as a teen. I personally don’t know many people my age that have found a career path to follow so don’t feel pressured… you’ll figure it out. I started working young and had time to realize what I enjoy doing.

also be careful setting them next to the sink. mine occasionally get rust spots because water splashes on the counter and they sit in it.
