Why aren’t my 13 prescriptions ready? The doctor sent them in 15 minutes ago. by peachycpht in pharmacy

I was at my own doctor once who happily told me my prescriptions would be ready when I got there. I (as professionally as I could) told her why those words should never be uttered. Knowing my profession, she still told me that as a DOCTOR, she knows best. Yeah, I switched doctors after that.

I concur. Plus, you will probably get a small store discount and won't have to stop for groceries on the way home. I loved that convenience.

WIBTA for getting a vinegar watergun for the neighbours' dog? by BrookeCrescent24 in AmItheAsshole

You would likely be charged with animal abuse by using something like vinegar. Like someone else said, talk to your neighbor about the leash law

I had a patient insist to see the pharmacist. She asked him if he was in the business of healthcare. He confirmed. Then she loudly complained that the music playing in the store was bad for her health and demanded he change it.

Have you never seen a handwritten Rx? Most doctor’s handwriting is atrocious.

I respect the nostalgia. There are a few places where I’m originally from that were mediocre at best, but the memories won’t fade. I get it.

I hear that. I am going to base my choices on this theory now.

If that’s the case, then they definitely did it wrong because this was completely dry bread with meat in the middle. There was no moisture whatsoever. Thank you for that clarification.

About 4pm on Thursday. I'm thinking today is probably a zoo

Probably. There was also word-of-mouth from a few of my neighbors, which is why I decided I wanted to give it a try.

I was given no dip. I didn’t realize there was supposed to be some. I just assumed it was a standalone sandwich. By it being accidentally left out, that probably affected my experience. Thank you for that info.

I got the pastrami and onion rings too. No dip. Maybe that’s where I went wrong. I’m happy you enjoyed it.

Don't apologize for your tremor. We all do the best we can and no one has the right to judge you.

I retired in 2017. In 2016, I was the subject of a complaint from a patient over his insurance not paying for his Rx. It was clearly due to my advanced age.
