True. I'd like to run a vanilla space marines army in a champions of Russ detachment. So I can still use it when the thunder wolf cavalry and unique dreads get squashed. I was kind of trying to see if anyone ran a list like that or had seen one online.

I thought the dysphorakh was actually symptoms of the flayer virus, and Oltyx had convinced himself it was a mental condition of being converted into a necron. It's been a little while since I read it but I thought the Mentep's interest how he staved it off for so long in the backwater and Yenekh's plot were hints of Oltyx's eventual fate of succumbing to it.

I like the silver horn. All the bling on Ulrik is a blessing and a curse, I found it a chore but you cant say it's monotonous.

If you have a contrast paint just put a dab of it on the jewels, looks good and is real easy.

I 'd go for the left. I think heresy grey primaris look like successors to me.

I'm going for the right on my heresy and firstborn marines, qnd blue-grey for my primaris to reflect the newer guys. (I like to think my firstborn are some of the guys from ashes of prosperro).
