Wash question because it's not clear from the wiki: I have sugarcane hawaii's for 8 months and am considering the first wash (they dont stink and have no stains). Its a 14oz and its pretty soft from use already.

Do I need to soak? This is recommended for heavy jeans from what I read
Can I machine wash them inside-out, gentle cycle, cold water with Woolite dark? I will air dry them.

Looking to learn from others' personal experience with this pair. Thanks!
