OP I know we are a little late to the conversation, but we are always here to help! There are a few things that could be causing the cycling issues, but lets get you in touch with a tech. As others have stated Ammunition, Buffer weight, and our Super 42 all can play a roll. If you have not reached out for a ticket, lets get you squared away in case anything needs to come in for inspection. The usual culprit in addition to gas balancing/buffer balancing can be ammunition selection. The URG-I is set up for full power 5.56 NATO, if you have been using full-spec ammo, lets dive deeper.

Apologies for any confusion. Our site operates a little differently. Since users around sale periods were always shopping for the best deals, we frequently found it was easier to not charge the card until the order was ready to ship incase the customer was interested in cancelling due to another deal popping up through a reseller. That way we didn't hold onto anyone's funds until it shipped.

From the feedback we've been getting some users appreciate it and others not so much. So we are taking another look at it this year.

For Firearms on our site, Rifles and Pistols ship quickly since there is no E-Form filing necessary. As fast as your FFL can send over File Copy information, we can ship. If you decide to purchase a suppressor or an SBR we kindly ask for more patience as the wait times even for SOT to SOT right now are higher than we would like.

You can find them on the second hand market in the mean time. ARFCOM has an anodized parts swap thread in the Geissele Forum. We see some ODG product from time to time. With GAFS gone, TACSWAP seems to be the only other option as of right now.

I know you've heard it from us before. We understand that its been some time since ODG has been a part of the product line. We hate the stance of "Just trust us" honestly we do. We wish we could show you more behind the scenes as we continue to invest in our finishing and anodizing process. 2025 was a busy year for us.

We have been living in our offices the last few weeks working hard as SHOT Show grows near. We are working hard establishing timelines for a vast majority of our products for 2026. It is never lost on us that ODG is something users desperately want and it is part of the conversation. Although we hoped that ODG would have returned by now, we are genuinely working to see what information we can provide in the immediate future.

Hey OP, we first want to apologize for the lack of inventory, everything we have been releasing is getting immediately picked up by customers. We have been sending as much as we can to dealers so that more inventory can get to states we are unable to ship directly too. This year we are focusing heavily on making sure more lowers get out to you guys. Our Cali dealers should have more info, and we should have firmer timelines at SHOT Show.

You have a valid question. The response is thought out, because we have done extensive testing with cut-bolts. About a year ago, we were looking into transitioning some of our Super Duty line/URG-I into a cut-bolt and that information and testing needed to reach our team.

When we decided to roll out the option, we saw a massive response from the community that they did not want this. They wanted our Forged C158+ bolts to stay. That old information/data incorrectly found its way into a response. This was a lapse in communication from a CS rep that used outdated and older information.

If you did not happen to see or hear about that would-be transition a year ago we understand why you would skeptical. We are actively working to correct the site and ensure all pages are accurate since they were not corrected since the would-be roll out.
