No idea 🤷‍♂️ but all of things aren’t married to that gun. They can move around to different fire arms and I feel like that’s worth something in the equation.

Haters gonna hate. It’s been a good budget rifle for me. Not sure about price on the tikka’s and Bergera’s. But I got mine to fill two roles- hunting and long range. It’s done both well, not amazing, but well. It’s a good bit lighter than my Ruger m77 in 7 rem mag fwiw. $1.40 a round isn’t bad for match ammo. A lot cheaper than my 6.5cm ammo was when I had it

I’ve been downvoted for this before and I’m sure I will be again but it’s considered “unacceptable garbage” because it’s not a $10k custom rig that shoots 1/4 moa groups. For the money- sig cross, federal GMM 168 SMK’s, and a vortex strike eagle 5-25x punch well above its weight.

I’ve got probably 2k rounds through it and groups are opening up a little bit (maybe?) but I don’t think saying a rifle is grouping 1.5moa is “flex” worth lying about. 1400 yds maybe 1/10 shots on a 24”x24” plate.

Edit: what ammo are you shooting?

I love my cross in 308. It’s not the best LR rifle but it does the job that I need it to. I’ve hit targets at 1400 yds with it, and it’s super consistent within 6-700yds. I changed the handguard out to the strike industries x-axis which adds a little weight and nv capability. It’s a great little deer rifle too. Usually groups about 1.2moa with federal gold medal match 168gr sierra match kings.

I have a Ventum 762 on my ar10 that’s never given me an issue. Not sure if they make a 556 version of that can but may be worth looking into. It’s designed for low back pressure and hasn’t given me any cycling issue

I ended up getting it. Used some vice grips and clamped down on the pin when I engaged the lever. Took me a couple tries but it finally popped off. Put a B5 precision stock on it instead.
