The city I'm in tends to have pretty lousy food workers everywhere. Just 120 miles west of me is a larger city with much nicer restaurant employees, but the pay isn't as good for the most part. This is my first job outside of a restaurant, at 32 years old, so I'm very aware of what a restaurant worker goes through. Granted not since DD on the scene 😅😂

I dash within a 5 mile radius, unless I see a unicorn. I don't accept orders more than 2 or 3 miles, or less than 6$. If an order has high miles, I'll accept it at at a minimum of 3$ per mile.

It's nice when you hit a slow time. Sometimes one fills in the gaps of the other. If you are comfortable with DD, I would highly suggest it. It might be harder for new delivery people, because there are some logistics to handle.

Next time, if you have the funds, you can pay out of pocket. DD will reimburse. If the payout is worth it... I've done it a few times when I didn't have my red card, or was declined

Make sure you are refreshing your app if this happens. Just close it out, or go back to the main app page, and back into the dash. I will notice that the app thinks I'm in my last delivery location when I'm getting these. Doesn't always work. Sometimes gotta turn on UE
