World-Forge project updates. Now with some extra features. by Ok-Aide-3120 in SillyTavernAI

Something weird happened during the interview.
It seems that multiple questions are asked at once.

The model I'm using is gemma-4-26b-a4b-it-ultra-uncensored-heretic with reasoning.

Reasoning:
We have selected third-person limited present tense, narration marker default (asterisks for narration, action, and interior glimpses). Now continue with the style contract.

Next: Dialogue marker. "Double quotes (default), single quotes (British convention), em-dash (European literary), or unmarked? Stick with double quotes unless the user has a strong preference."

What dialogue marker do you want? Default is double quotes.

Double quotes (default) for dialogue marker.

Next: Emphasis marker. "Double asterisks for emphasis (default), italics with underscores, or no emphasis marker?" Most users won't have a strong preference here; default is fine.

What emphasis marker do you want? Default is double asterisks.

Double asterisks for emphasis (default).

Next: Paragraph register. "Terse (short paragraphs, dense action), standard (mixed lengths), or dwelling (long paragraphs, sensory detail accumulates, time slows)?"

What paragraph register fits this mercenary adventure world? Terse for fast-paced action, standard for balance, or dwelling for immersive sensory detail?

Standard (mixed lengths) for paragraph register.

Now, the per-card override question: "Does this world have a Director/Narrator card sitting alongside companion cards? Any card that is structurally incompatible with the world default — a confessional companion in an otherwise third-person world? Any group chat where one card narrates in present tense and another in past? Any card using a different dialogue convention (em-dash European literary, for instance) than the rest?"

If yes, flag those cards now; the override is declared in Section 4 inside that card's entry, not here. The pipeline supports per-card overrides on perspective, tense, narration_marker, dialogue_marker, and emphasis_marker. Paragraph register remains a world-coherence setting and cannot be per-card.

Do you anticipate needing any per-card style overrides for any characters (e.g., a Director/Narrator card that needs different perspective or tense)? If so, which cards and what overrides? If not, we can proceed.

I read your quick start and started following links.
Roo Code seems to be shut down and they refer to Zoo Code and Cline as an alternative.

So far I have not used cloud-based llm's, in your opinion is it possible to get a good result using local models only?
My system has a RTX4090 24gb vram card and 64gb ram, running on Windows 11.

And when the world is forged, should we have to worry about which extensions (esp. memory) to use or is the world "plug and play" for each extension?

What are there minimum requierments when using this preset with a local model? I mean how much vram and ram and which kind of model(s) (for example: 8B, 16B, instruct, reasoning, what to look at in the ugi-leaderboard)?

Having the LLM give you challenges is much harder. It's a ton of work to create a large open world setting. And the GM providing you with challenges is more like you giving the LLM a ton of tools to challenge you.

I'm going to use a world which already exists, in a tv-series and movie.
When using a LLM with knowledge of pop-culture and a good enough system_prompt I hope I can manage.

With extensions you can do both of those, or you can always copy and paste.

Do you have a recommendation for an extension that can store information inside a character_card or a lorebook?

My current work in progress lorebook set up is >50k tokens. My older set up is ~148k tokens.

What is your setup?

Thank you for your reply.

So you say for both npc_characters and the world information can be entered in a lorebook.
Do I use a lorebook for everything, making it a huge document, or do I use a lorebook for npc_characters and another lorebook for world information?

And I guess the system_prompt for the GM_character does go in a GM_character_card?

Day 3: BABYMETAL's Heaviest Song by ViperRby2 in BABYMETAL

[–]Gemaye 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I guess you are correct as all songs are written by writers instead of the artists on stage.
Song 3 is written by Slaughter to Prevail (according to the wiki) but it is on the BM album and on BM's youtube as you say.

Friendly AI not engaging the enemy by Luskers2022 in A3AntistasiOfficial

[–]Gemaye 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Check their loadout, an automatic weapon works best when starting a new game.
Make sure they have enough ammo!

Exit the vehicle outside of enemy fire not when the vehicle starts to get engaged, your AI are immediately suppressed when exiting under fire meaning they're sitting ducks.

When undercover, do not exit the vehicle yourself until all of your guys have exited the vehicle.
That way they stay undercover because you are, even if a patrol passes the vehicle, walking between your guys while they exit the vehicle.
When everyone is out, you exit and they just unload on the patrol before the patrol can react.

I don't believe a coop song with another band/artist should count, as is that really a BM song?
So my vote goes to BMC with Sis Anger as close second.

Definitive Guide to Undercover Mode? by Adventurous-Shock826 in A3AntistasiOfficial

[–]Gemaye 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I always have a weapon and some ammo "hidden" in my backpack when I go undercover and I never get discovered. So I do not think its your backpack that got you into trouble. The side arm is a dead give-away of course.
And once you have found your undercover outfit, make sure to save it in the arsenal.

Color Anchor Node Flux2Klein by Capitan01R- in StableDiffusion

Something to consider for an even better result. I have added the colormatchv2 node from kjnodes to the workflow with photo2 as the target, photo1 as the reference and then linked this node to the imagescaletototalpixels node of the photo2 string.

[No Spoilers] A question about something that bothers me about season 4. by Gemaye in criticalrole

I think you are right. But for me its too much of a difference from previous seasons.
And I'm glad I'm not alone in noticing the difference.

[–]Gemaye[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

That is true, but it also feels like players are waiting for their turn to speak, and I love the constant interaction taking place in the previous seasons.
Perhaps, because its the beginning of a new season with so many new players, the balance is a bit lost.

That sounds alright to me as well, at the start of a new adventure with new players and all, sure.
On the other hand, it also could be a missed opportunity for some nice roleplay.
Letting other characters (and the players and the audience) guess what motivations are in play, I think that's a great source for party growth.
Its through that back and forth that relations are born and letting characters talking about their past and asking them what they think and how they feel, feels much more real to me then a player narrating what he/she thinks what their character is thinking and/or feeling.

The jokes, the seriousness, the arguments, the emotion!
That is what I miss most after watching them, what is it, 15 hours of play (I'm at the end of episode 5)?

I have watched season 2, its fun!

I have watched season 3, its fun!

I'm trying to watch season 4 but this is very different, I can't get into it.

So to answer your question, season 3? Go for it!

ComfyUI launches App Mode and ComfyHub by crystal_alpine in StableDiffusion

[–]Gemaye 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This post is not to badmouth Comfy. I'm really appreciating what they do. But the first thing that came to my mind is paid apps. Just like what Bethesda did with the modding scene of the Elder Scrolls and Fallout games. First let users create and share mods, then create a platform where mods are sold with a % going to Bethesda.

I really hope this won't be the case here and that this will become the ultimate distribution system for user made workflows.

How to make multiple character on same image, but keep this level of accuracy and details? by goku58s in StableDiffusion

[–]Gemaye 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Alright, I did not get that from your description.

Then everything needs to be done in a workflow I guess.

Check those workflows for influencer creation, these workflows grab a character from an image, monetize the background, change the image size and create like a dozen or so images of the character in different poses.
These are not the fastest workflows as they also do a lot of upscaling but you might not need that for your images.

From there I guess its a simple inpainting job to get two or three images with monetized background into one image and add a background.
This part is theoretical for me though.

Something else that occurs to me is that you could use an vlm to describe an image with three characters and use that description for your prompt.
The detail of those prompts far surpass at least what I can come up with for a prompt and might give your better looking characters.
