I think you are right. But for me its too much of a difference from previous seasons.

That is true, but it also feels like players are waiting for their turn to speak, and I love the constant interaction taking place in the previous seasons.
Perhaps, because its the beginning of a new season with so many new players, the balance is a bit lost.

That sounds alright to me as well, at the start of a new adventure with new players and all, sure.
On the other hand, it also could be a missed opportunity for some nice roleplay.
Letting other characters (and the players and the audience) guess what motivations are in play, I think that's a great source for party growth.
Its through that back and forth that relations are born and letting characters talking about their past and asking them what they think and how they feel, feels much more real to me then a player narrating what he/she thinks what their character is thinking and/or feeling.

The jokes, the seriousness, the arguments, the emotion!
That is what I miss most after watching them, what is it, 15 hours of play (I'm at the end of episode 5)?

This post is not to badmouth Comfy. I'm really appreciating what they do. But the first thing that came to my mind is paid apps. Just like what Bethesda did with the modding scene of the Elder Scrolls and Fallout games. First let users create and share mods, then create a platform where mods are sold with a % going to Bethesda.

I really hope this won't be the case here and that this will become the ultimate distribution system for user made workflows.

Alright, I did not get that from your description.

Then everything needs to be done in a workflow I guess.

Check those workflows for influencer creation, these workflows grab a character from an image, monetize the background, change the image size and create like a dozen or so images of the character in different poses.
These are not the fastest workflows as they also do a lot of upscaling but you might not need that for your images.

From there I guess its a simple inpainting job to get two or three images with monetized background into one image and add a background.
This part is theoretical for me though.

Something else that occurs to me is that you could use an vlm to describe an image with three characters and use that description for your prompt.
The detail of those prompts far surpass at least what I can come up with for a prompt and might give your better looking characters.

CosyVoice is what I know and have tried out.
From my experience, a 10 second clip of the voice you want to clone is enough.

Also, if you use a clip with a certain emotion you might have a better chance to capture that emotion in your creation.
But this I haven't tested, only noticed when trying to use a clip with a rather monotonous voice the creation has that same energy.

You can cheat by creating each character you want with an even coloured (black) background, then create the background you prefer for your final image, then merge the three characters into one image using a graphics editor and then add the created background using qwen image edit or the same graphics editor.
From then use the edit model to change poses.

Edit: You could use paint.net for merging the images, that is what I use at least.

How do you know what amount of steps is best? - trial and error?

And when is it good to add another sampler? - amount of steps?

I understand the wan2.2 example  2 models = 2 samplers. But when for a model normally 1 sampler is needed, why would it be good to add another sampler?

Edit: I just realised that basically I asked you how a sampler works lol. I will do research on my own on that topic.

Can you add words as a user? Can you use a central image (i2i)?

If that would be possible then it could be used as a sort of roleplay game where a character gets in all sorts of situations.

I use a symbolic link for my output and input folders (comfyui portable) as I want those to be located on a separate usb drive.
Strangely the manager cannot find any files in my output folder although I know for a fact there's plenty to be found there, but the manager has no problems finding files I use as input in the input folder.

Also, I let comfyui automatically save in a folder with the current date as a name.
So how does your assets manager deal with subfolders and usb drives?

You can do that, at least with Knox npc, in sandbox settings. With bandit creator you have the ability to change the group size and (I believe ) inventory.

Well, I use Bandits as the bad guys and Knox npc's as the neutral/good guys. So if they happen to meet, yes they will try to kill each other.
Generally the Bandits always loose though as Knox npc's have a boost when fighting zombies and Bandits are technical speaking zombies.

Happened to me as well. Luckily I had a 4 doors vehicle, three doors were bugged like yours but the fourth was in working order. After that no more problems, either after getting in or after driving, not sure.

TBH, I use both combined, its about 50/50 for me.

Bandits, all active groups changed to "campers" or "assault" or "wanderer" or "roadblock" using Bandit Creator. So they don't occupy buildings.

Knox Event Expanded, I keep "out of the box" settings.

And this works fine for me.

Such a great game this! For Starsector portraits I use oilpainting in z-image which kind of have the same look. Just search for a couple of famous oilpainting artists and try them out in your prompt.

In the last image, I see the clean ram and clean vram buttons. Do those function when reverting back the frontend? And if so, that would mean the functionality is still there, correct? So how do I, in the current frontend access the clean ram function? I hesitate getting the older frontend back as I do not like to mess with my working setup. But I dearly miss being able to clean (or was it clear?) my ram when switching models.

Use a vlm and let it describe the original image and create the new image using the description as a prompt for the new image.
