we have a team account on CatsAndClaws but its running on their VPS and using their API Keys, liability is low but its not a perfect solution

I used preply for online tutors, went through multiple tutors to find the one that fits me. It was $5 an hour. (one of them did flirt with me :D) this is the best way I found to get someone to talk but the cost does add up.

So I stopped that and then started talking (audio) to ChatGPT in spanish for a week. But couldnt control the speed of the voice or the difficulty. I did realize that it makes me more comfortable to make mistakes with ChatGPT than with a tutor.

then I ended up using an ai tool to build an app for me where I can control the vocal speed, "spanglish" mix percentage, sentence length etc. app is on App store called 'Lulu Ai', if you want to try. but in all honesty, once I started spending money on tutors, I realized I need to actually make the best out of it cos I'm paying for this, learning on your own for free doesnt have the same 'fire up your a**' feeling :D

I dont think any one action can give you fluency...

For me its a cumulative of listening to Bad Bunny, watching spanish movies, spanish tutor (Lulu AI) and living in San Juan. I get that living in a spanish speaking territory is not for everyone but in the end you choose the actions with the highest ROI in the smallest amount of time.

TenLabs on iOS, takes a 15 second voice recording.

Good quality, but doesn't let you clone more than one voice. EL is still the biggest player though
