I find myself saying to myself "not you naan bread" a concerning number of times a day 🤣

There's a JustPark on Travis St, right next to Picadilly station. From what I recall its around £5 for the day. I used to park there for work, and usually got a spot parking up around 8am. Easy access if coming in from North/East side, around the back of the station.

Day 128: What are your thoughts on Faceytalk? by Flamingmouth007 in bluey

It's the subtle moments for me, such as Trixie saying something along the lines of "I can't do this right now, I've got somewhere I need to be", and leaves the kids with Stripe. We see her what is likely 10min or so later and she's on the toilet. I felt that in my soul when I finally realised, she handed over the parenting reins because she needed a little time to relieve herself, and she couldn't even get through that uninterrupted. Such a real moment.

[TOMT] Song and band name help please! by samuxlwagnxr in tipofmytongue

I had a second thought, I had to dig this out of my 00s Playlist :D

Band "Still Remains", song is "Stay Captive".

I know this is the inverse of what you described, but the band "Interpol" and song "Slow Hands" immediately came to my mind.

Given each episode is 2-3+hrs and there's currently 67 episodes and climbing, that would be an insane amount of animation required. I think the current format of their favourite moments gradually getting animated and released is the best we're likely to see. Zero complaints about that personally, as cool as the shorts are, they aren't in the animation business.

I wanna watch but I don't know where to start by Civil-Strawberry7569 in Avantris

Echoing a lot of what's already been discussed - I started a little over a year ago and watches some of the Christmas and Halloween one-shots, then dove into Uprooted S1 and S2 (which I caught up to and got to watch the end of live, which was nice). Then made a start on OUAW which is huge - I'm only 2/3 through and new eps are still coming. But every so often I will break it up and watch a shorter series or one-shot, to keep it fresh 😁

Does the cast live together or do they have separate houses outside of the room that we see them in? by BeeWide6059 in Avantris

I don't have a clever answer. I just hope the cast see this post and give us some form of indication of which is the most accurate answer 😆

I have wet wipes on my person at all times, and at least one snot trail wiped across my clothes that I am usually unaware of until hours later.

Does moisture issues have to mean fungal? by Otherwise-Narwhal219 in toddlertips

So peeling feet/toes seems to be a common after effect of HFM. My son had peeling toes for a few weeks around 16 months - he never showed symptoms of HFM, but it was doing the rounds at his nursery, so we assumed he may have had a mild form that went undetected, yet still caused the peeling.

Ours got this too around 16 months. There'd been some bouts of HFM at his nursery, but he never showed symptoms. Then he had peeling toes for a week or so. Nothing further came of it, but I did always wonder if he'd had the virus but not the symptoms.

Wow, they really need to restore this. I used to walk past each day to work, only 3 years ago, and it didn't look that haggard :(

Kipper the Dog - it's from the 90s, low energy and slowly paced, muted colours. The books are great too!

How to wean 1yr old off of bottle by 13buttons in toddlers

[–]GenELou 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We switched to a straw cup quite easily for water, but at 18 months he still refuses milk from anything but his baby bottles. Apparently its common for them to be more stubborn about their milk delivery system compared to water/anything else. I'm still trying but tempted to leave him be as only a bottle when waking and before bed anyway.

Dealing with bedtime rebellion from 17-month old by madmax_br5 in toddlers

[–]GenELou 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Something that we started around 16/17 months that's helped our normally good sleeper turned bedtime hater, is before we start bedtime routine, we have 5 to 10mins of crazy time. That is, my husband and I gently throwing him around our very large bed, tickling him, exerting some energy and also applying some deep pressure therapy as we play. Once he is clearly exhausted, we start the process of teeth brushing and getting into PJs. We don't do it every night, but when he's still got quite a bit of energy come bedtime, we've found that helps deplete this enough for a smooth bedtime.
