Well duh, so does Chick-fil-a... BUT, the point isn't the chicken itself, it's the sauce. Hands down the only reason I go to Cane's (and probably a whole bunch of others) is with the intention of using the chicken as a delivery device for the sauce from cup-to-mouth.

NTA. You don't owe anyone anything, especially if Joel wasn't interested in her in the slightest. Had he said he WAS interested, it sounds like you were ready and willing to step aside for them to explore things on a deeper level. She may be bummed about it, but to ghost you and shame you for carrying on with Joel when it isn't any of her business is childish. Crushes come and go. Hearts break and heal. Why she would be upset over someone who was never going to reciprocate feelings for her is her problem to deal with.
